Lit Legacy Volume II --- one year in

it's awesome. Cover art could be better, but that hardly matters. The setup and flow is very cinematic. I wouldn't mind if they adapted it somewhat with the character roles and situations as Ep VII

It is a strictly inferior series to the original Legacy. Ania has not distinguished herself from any number of "tough woman" characters in other fiction and, aside from the assassin droid, the other characters seem mostly devoid of personality as well. The focus on a "small story" also hurt the series, since, because of her being a cipher, Ania can't (IMO) carry the weight of a murder/identity mystery story centered on her.

 

You put the one year in, you put the one year out, you do the EU Hokey Pokey ... well, that's the end of my rhyme, because the whole damn thing doesn't matter anymore thanks to the inquisition and crusade against the holy dogma of Zahnism. I really hope that Zahn Luther nails his thesis against the doors of Skywalker Ranch.

Reread Outcasts of the Broken Ring today (and the first issue of that arc for the first time) and it has held up a lot. Legacy comic era rocks. Still need to read issue 15 and cannot wait for the last three issues.
