Got any of the Rogue One sets yet, jp-30?

Only the AT-ST (away for Christmas), and that's all I'll be getting. I've narrowed my SW range down to OT type sets.

I got the Holiday Train, which I'm looking forward to building. I also saw the LEGO Batman Movie sets and want them all. And the Disney castle, which looks excellent constructed. And of the big builds at the store, this was the best.

I've got it down to OT, TFA, and now Rogue One until I actually see the movie and perhaps immediately stop.
As it is, the U-Wing is more OT than the OT.

I'm picking up the ghostbusters firestation today as my Christmas present from the missus.

I've been greenlit for three Disney castle in the new year and have been told I can get more after we move.

a new higher paying job really does pay off sometimes.

Because I was physically incapable of going anywhere new years eve, I spent it building this beauty that I shelved aside earlier in the year.

Btw, I don't think I've ever trusted anything as little as the lego stand that you build for it.

The stand for Slave 1 is deceptively tiny and I too share you apprehension in it supporting the model but it has managed for nearly a year so far.

I now have the ghostbusters Firestation sitting alongside the Helicarrier and Slave 1 model on the main shelf at home.

Disney Castle is next at some point next year.. Lord knows where I'll put it though as I'm running out of space

    More robotic lego coming.

Mindstorms have been around for a decade or more. This new 'simpler' one with a distance sensor and mobile app control could be great for train automation though.

I mean yeah LEGO robotics was already a thing in the late 90s, to the point where there were organized clubs all the way from elementary school to high school and presumably college.

Obviously there's way more they can do now than even 10 years ago, so it's always a little exciting to see how creative they'll get with newer tech.

Bought my dad the Beatles Yellow Submarine for his birthday. Only half way through construction but he is absolutely chuffed!
