Yeah - it looks like she's not wearing any underwear - especially in the Hyperspace pic!

Yeah, I've seen that pic some years ago in a book, there's no way she can have anything under that dress.

I would like to think there was at least something under there, like a sewn-in, very high-cut panty attached to the waistline or some such. All I know is it's one of the costumes on my list this year and there's no way I'm going without something!

That could work. All you really need for the upper half is something with princess seams. The skirt is more "draped and tossed on until something looks right," at least with my first version.

Ok girls...my dress is finished.

I need to do the belt yet, but other wise I am quite happy with it.

i used microsuade..and the above dress pattern. as soon as i get the belt and the hair finished i'll get a picture. :)

not too bad...considering i just started sewing. :)

BUT then JoC is a great jedi sewing master. ;)

What do you guys think of this one for the skirt:
Skirt Pattern?

It is backwords, but it looked pretty darn close to me.

That skirt pattern has a great hem for this dress, but the waist area might be a bit tricky to modify.

On another note... my Padawan had done well. :)

Has anybody made this recently?

I want to make it! It's such a nice costume. Any new patterns, and items that go with the dress?

I'm actually thinking about this one for my daughter's next dress...something light and fun...and she could carry around a stuffed Ewok or something. :p

Her pattern would be different tho than adult sized.
