Leia's lightsaber

What color is Leia's lightsaber? I've heard that it was either blue, green, or even PINK.

 

Close. IIRC, Heir to the Empire establishes her first lightsaber (her training one built by Luke) to be green...but the comic adaptation depicts it as blue. Go figure. Then there's the one Luke made for her in the Corellian Trilogy; she had her red one from Dark Empire, and Vima-Da-Boda's, later destroyed.

I will. Luke gave her two crystals and had her change between the two for practice. Disassembling and reassembling lightsabers seems to be a training exercise for Jedi, as seen in the Clone Wars Cartoon in the Chapter with Bariss and Luminara. Luminara had Bariss deconstruct hers, choose a new crystal, and reassemble it with the Force before she finished her sentence, that thing from the Jedi Code (probably). That's difficult!

on the cover of TLC mara is holding a green saber and its supposed to be leia's so that settles the issue (for that book atleast)

 

Dark Empire lacked colour. How do we know it was scarlet?

Also, Mara's ruby in her comic was violet in NEGTC's entry.

 

I seem to remember her in the Corellian trilogy have a pink or reddish lightsaber.

How fitting, pink for girls and blue for boys

 

I used to think she had a pink one due to the ESB children's photobook with vinyl record. There's one pic of her firing a blaster on Cloud City that looked to me as a child like she was igniting a pink lightsaber.

 

She had a red saber in Rebel Stand, as I recall.

 

She has one to match each outfit in her wardrobe! Didn't you know that colour coordinated accessories are a must?!?!?!? Takes her ages to get ready of a morning......poor Han has to wait around for her for hours

::::Flips through his copy of Mara Jade: By the Emperor's Hand:::: Looks fairly violet to me, though there's a few scenes where it's more reddish than it probably should be.

At any rate, the live-action pictures of Mara-as-Hand show her with a violet saber, and I'd trust the coloration of those pictures over that of the comic anyway.

 

didn't luke give her a white/clear lightsaber in the Corellian Trilogy? and I forget which color she had in Planet of Twilight, but i want to say red.
