    Thanks for the picture MadMardigan. As stated earlier the needle hooked onto the interrogation droid must of had a serum to get her to spill the beans while Darth Vader questioned her about the Rebel base. :)

    Those other officiers we saw probably aided in extracting information while the toxin flowed through her blood, how she resisted talking -- don't ask me.

    And why Vader called the thing a 'mind probe' when it had a syringe jutting out from it -- don't ask me either, maybe it was a combination of the two.

    Maybe the syringe was injected into her head?

    More likely, the interrogation was a "mind probe" in the sense that Vader was trying to get into Leia's mind, so he could learn the location of the Rebel base.

    Btw, doesn't the ROTJ novelisation describe Leia's Death Star torture? The description appears while Jabba's forcing a drink on her on the sail barge, as they're flying to the Pit of Carkoon.
