Let it snow!

Today, October the 23 marks the first snow of my college career! It's not snowing hard or anything, but damn, snow in October.

I just thought I'd let you guys know.

 

It's raining like a motha here in Boston.
I got outside and felt the torrential rain. That's why it looked so dark in the apartment this morning!


Nothing worse than 33 degree rain. Brrr!

 

Indeed. That's why it's nice to be in the mountains. Elevation makes for snow. Maybe it'll be a good winter...it's been too long since there was one. It'll do us good when summer comes again. Snow fills the aquifers better than rain and drought conditions won't be as bad.

You guys enjoy your nice safe public transportation system--I had to drive a 40-foot bus with a horrid turning circle to Manchester in the wee hours of the morning to-day. It's been snowing since 4:30 AM, and the roads were a mess, the snow was thick as pea soup, and the flakes were making me dizzy.

And it's still comin' down in sheets. On a day like this, what I wouldn't give to take the train to Portland and chill out downtown.

 

The forecast for today says "light snow" here in western mass, but all I see is blue sky and a wet ground.

Actually it's snowing right now. Big flakes too hard to miss them . I didn't get a real winter last year (was in CA) so I'm hoping for a GOOD one this year to make up for last year hehe.

Looks nice and pretty in the country part of the state,but its very ugly in town!!Driving in Boston is tough enough but when it snows leave the car at home and take the T!!

I walked outside today, annoyed with the rain but then though; 'At least it's not snowing'.

No sooner had the thought finished I stopped dead in my tracks. It WAS snowing. Grr. Spent the next 5 minutes cleaning off my car and cursing the whole time (I was already late)

I so need to move!

oh, god it was snowing really hard for a while. we left for a full school day field trip to the science museum and when i got out, it was all bright and dry. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?

Personally I was none too happy when a 90 minute drive into Boston for a Doctor's appointment turned into a 3 hour ordeal. Talk about your unhappy Jedi...
