I wait for them to be available in my library. I don't need to own the books to enjoy them.

Plus, this way I don't feel ripped off if I don't enjoy the book.

I used to be that way, until it became nigh impossible to keep up with what books was what, and when it took place in continuity, and if my library carried it, or the complete set of a series or not. Believe me I was confused then as you may be with my last post.

I have them all too. I really don't know why I shell out 25 bucks for a book I can get in pb later, but I do. And I don't know why I bought Conquest when I really don't like Anakin Solo, but I did. It truly is an addiction to Star Wars.

I only have 3, Vector Prime HB, Ruin and Jedi Eclipse....I had read Onslaught so I decided I might as well read Ruin, and I need to get the first Agents of Chaos Book before I read Jedi Eclipse. I got Ruin and JE in my Easter basket, hehe
So now I'm reading the Corellian trilogy to tide me over until I can get new NJO books.

To those talking about libraries...I'm librariphobic. :(

I take great pride in owning my own books, and have a lot of trouble reading a library book, especially when it's beat out of shape or covered with sticky plastic wrap...ugh.

And I too have lost the willpower to enter a bookstore without making a purchase. I've done that maybe once in the last five years...pathetic.

I do it all the time. That's because whenever I am bored I go to the B&N five minutes away, and I can't find something EVERY TIME. But I like to own all my own books, unless I can get something at the library that's out of print.

I have all the pb's, except VP. I will buy the ex-hard backs sooner or later, but I reserve them at the library as early as possible. I don't buy hardbacks. I've got EoV:C too now - this morning - I've nearly finished it.
The library is good for graphic novels too - I don't want to spend £12 a time on mostly pictures, but I do like to know the story line. It costs me 75p a time that way. (Sorry, UK prices, dunno the exchange rate.)

I had to get all of them, libraries are too slow. Besides, the rest of my Star Wars books would look funny without the new stuff.
