Yeah, I mean, it stinks that he lost the title without being able to defend it due to injury, but it's not like Dana didn't hint before that's what could happen if Cruz got injured again.

I am a bit disappointed that it took them this long to remove Cruz as the title holder, it was holding up the entire division. I understand that injuries happen, but he hasn't fought for 2 1/2 years....after this injury heals he will have had a 3 year break. Anything over 18 months is really excessive and in need of action in my opinion.

 

Yeah, this. Sad thing is that because of the long injury period I doubt Dana lets Cruz anywhere near the title after this.

Funny you should mention Cyborg, she apparently has said she'll finally drop to 135 and wants a fight with Rousey.

Dana would likely make the fight because it would make money, but I think Rousey would take a non - steroided up Cyborg's arm (because Dana would absolutely make sure Cyborg's tested at every turn after she got popped for the Carano fight.).
