And now onto the biggest grudge match of the year... Jones vs Cormier 2! (What do you mean there's some other grudge match using boxing elsewhere?!)

 

Did you see the interview Brian Stann had with them during the show last night?

 

Matt Hughes no longer in coma; expected to make a 'full recovery'.

 

So Lesnar says he's interested in fighting Jon Jones.

 

He's interested in fighting a guy he outweighs by 50 pounds? Maybe if they both juice it won't count as cheating.

 

Well Jones hasn't fought for a year either (his first match since that time is against DC on Saturday).

 

It is very very much great to see.

 

I think Lesnar would take him down and smash him, but it's silly that he wants to fight a light heavyweight with chicken legs when he's like the largest, most physically powerful, most athletic heavyweight in UFC history.

DC would be a more proper match up.

 

Jones has fought guys who are a bit bulkier than him (DC for example), and he can defend against take downs from wrestlers.

 

Official weigh - in show. Let's see if there are more fireworks between Jones and DC.

Post match promos like that is why, sometimes, I think UFC is a work.

 

I haven't seen any of the post match stuff. I think if I did just yet, I'd be throwing things.

Probably more appropriate for this thread, but it seems Cris Cyborg has called out a wrestler, too. This time Becky Lynch, who was at UFC last night and WWE shared a video of her calling out Cris.

Who knows what is going on between UFC-WWE. Could be a working relationship.

 

Well Cyborg got realistic and said she'd like to fight Holly Holm in the FS1 post - fight show.

But who knows, maybe there's a cameo appearance at SummerSlam like Ronda did a couple of years ago.
