FF:VIC "Lets Go Hunt Some Sound" - an exciting (FREE) fun filled day/evening/night

My dear fellow Viceffians, I like making new threads. It makes it look like we're exciting in here,a dn you all know its about the image.


Anyway, seeing as I love music and I'm sure some of you other people like music, and also seeing as we're all cheap...I mean, as we're all money conscious young people, I thought it might be nice to see if there was any interest in the following


The High Vibes Music festival - High Street Northcote

A fabulous chance to check out some free music, eat lots of stall food and drink from big plastic cups outside the Northcote Social Club whilst enjoying some sunshine (hopefully)!

Its not this Sunday, but next (the 24th of September) and runs from 10am to 10pm.

I'll be going anyway (Boogie, you aren't playing are you? ) and I thought I'd invite you guys along seeing as I like you all so darn much.




(and yes, I will provide lolly snakes)

 

No, I'm not playing, but it sounds pretty cool. Free is always good. I'll see if I can make it.

 

Sounds good. As long as I'm not required to work and not overly hungover if I get saturday night off for a party.

 

Well chickens, I will be there with bells, boots and possibly my cowboy Dad, and you all have my number. If you end up coming along, then message me and I'll find you...or the other way round. You never know...those beer gardens can get awful cosy around 3pm

Ha! I'm leaving this FF soon anyway. Up north, for recon work. JE will join me 12 months afterward to help make way for the invasion et al.

But at any rate, I will endevour to go to ONE more of this barnstormin' events before '06 is through.

 

Couldn't make it unfortunately, I had too much work to do at home. Hope it was fun!

And everyone, it may have been blisteringly cold, but Rock & Roll cleaved me to its warm, beer filled bosom and it was an excellent feeling!


Vegie burgers were kinda awesome too. Must remember - plum sauce and satay = taste sensation.

 

Even more unusual, but if adventurous try blending black bean with apricot. Crazy stuff.

 

i'm anti vegie-burgers. a tortology (sp?) if i ever saw one. war. versus vegies. now.
