[Let's have some controversy] Myspace > Facebook

Myspace is way better than facebook. Here are my reasons why:

1. The photo upload system is way better. Now facebook let's you have more than 60 photos in an album..lame. Myspace has done that way longer, and its easier to upload.

2. Comments on pages and photos is easier.

3. You can have your own custom background.

4. Music is easier to have on page.

5. You don't get millions of millions and millions of app invites every single freaking day...

Don't even get me started on twitter..

I like MySpace ebcause I'm still pretty much incognito there. i don't have people from ym past popping up and annoying me. I don't get miions of app-invites. I never accept any, anyway, and most people stopped sending me some.

Also, the support of facebook seems pretty incompetent. I got spammed to death with invitations and stuff to accept, but couldn't log on. The team was not sure they could tell me if I had an account on the mail addy at all...

I have not been hacked once until now.

I like the band updates on MySpace. Not that any of the scuggers ever come around close to my town.

You can scorn artists on whether or not they allow you to use their songs on your profile.

I like the page customization. Much funner to have...

 

Some people need their eyes adjusted though.
IMO, you should be able to read the text on the background without going blind.

 

That is the only problem...but I usually don't go to those profiles anyway.


And facebook may not last long anyway..

 

After I got that ton of stuff without any explanation, I decided to put anything facebook in my spam-filter.
At least on MySpace, people wait for you to register before they spam you...

QFT. Everytime I click on a link to a myspace page, I regret it because a ton of graphics take forever to load, and the music just slows things down.

I deleted my myspace account months ago because facebook is so much easier to use, more people use it, and I like the uniform look much better. It's better for actual social networking too, IMO.

 

Well either way, you may have to go back to myspace because facebook may not last long without getting any money.

Plus it takes longer for facebook pages to load sometimes because they got so many apps and crap on there, its sometimes if not worse than a myspace dark emo goth page to the hilt.

 

You're referring to the old-style facebook pages, which were in many ways superior to the new ones, but the new ones no longer have the loading issues you refer to.
