Well, I've barely started sewing on my tunics. But my boots came in yesterday, actually just ordered them Monday. They are a bit wacky but I like em. Plus they will work for my MC but I don't know if I really want to mess up the toe.
    Check them out at zappos.com
I plan on trying to make the yellow a bit darker. If you haven't seen the boots you gotta be goin' "yellow, what the..."
But for $44 I'm not complaining. And they are super comfy and really quiet. I think I'll call them my Jedi Stealth boots.

$45 for a pair of Doc Martens isn't too shabby. Nice score!

My wife took pics but they are the old style where they put this chemical solution on a plastic strip and you expose it to light and then put more chemicals on it. Really expenseve and takes forever. Then I have to scan them in...

I love this costume :D I need help finding a sword, somewhat like the one she has, should be 36 to 40 inches long or so. If I could get it not sharpened would even be better. I don't want there to be like 10-15 people running around missing a finger or worse [face_blush]

Lady Death has had about 4 or 5 different swords, each with their own name, powers and "personality". I've seen some 12" replicas, but nothing life-size unfortunately.

Until I learn how to embed a photo in a post, try this link to Upper Edge Knives & Cutlery in the Westy Mall:

Nice lookin' sword for just shy of $100.

Edit: Ok, nevermind the freakin' link won't work either.

    Try this navigation instead:

    www.todaysupperedge.com

Select Knives/Swords link on the left

Select Swords on the next page

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and select Fantasy under the United Cutlery brands logo.

    Check this bad boy...er...girl out:

    Sword Of Darkness, Granite
    SKU: UC1120-B
    Price: $99.50

Or there's this one as well:

    Sword Of Darkness II, Kilgorin
    SKU: UC1239
    Price: $112.00

The shop is in the Westy Mall, open till 9 pm Mon-Sat, Sun; 11-6.

Enter the Mall by Foley's, go about 150 feet, directly across from the Kids Foot Locker.

LD has a BIG-@$$ sword. Sumthin' like that is probably gonna cost ya Kim-May. The one that I just posted about is about 26", I believe. I assume that to be the blade length, so the hilt would add another 6 to 8 inches.

The Sword of Darkness I really like, I will put some links in a little while, very good prices on most of these swrods, 50-60 bucks, that's about all I'm willing to spend in less it's so close to the exact sword in that picture, I will go to $100, & if I get a big fat X-mas bonus $150 :D

I like this one, the first one from your first link. I think I've seen it on other sites & not at $200, ouch! Luciendar, Sword Of Light SEE: http://www.budkww.com/partsview.asp?action=lookup&partno=UC1239&subject=H&catpos=99999

SS, can you find me the info on her swords?
Found cheaper prices at several other sites, you have expensive taste :p

This was the first sword I saw at a costume place, $40, on-line $20. Almost bought it, Jeff said it needs to be BIGGER!!

    Wha's yur price range?

What is the smallest sword that you would like to use.

I think that Tim & Leah both have connections to that Medieval club: Society for anachronistic blah blah blah. They might be a good resource for you.

The first sword that I mentioned is only $100, is that too pricey? It has a great "death" look to it, with the skull in the pommel and all.
