Lit Lets think of some possible titles for Episode 8, shall we

This is from the man who thought Revenge of the Sith would be The Birth of Vader back when I was 11. The Force Awakens was predicted by a fan, and a lot of people think Episode 8 will be the cliché "The First Order Strikes Back", but I hope Disney will be better than that. Any ideas?

 

With the way force ghosts are in canon it would be strange if Luke wasn't in contact with them. I suspect they will have a lot to do with the plot so the title will probably reflect that. How about Ghosts of the Jedi?

 

I'm hoping for "The Rise of the Dark Falls"

 

The biggest complaint of The Force Awakens was that it was to much like A New Hope so I can't see The First Order Strikes Back being the title.

 

I'm hoping for Ashes of the Empire or something to that effect - where we get more backstory on the formation and early days of The First Order.

 

It would be Shadows of the Empire in that case, as that was a working title for The Force Awakens for a while.

 

Ashes of The Empire appears in the opening crawl for TFA though so that's not set in stone.

Ashes of the Empire isn't bad, although apparently there's a contingent of fans who really don't like "X of the Y" titles.

I mean, I hope for consistency's sake they stick with the name scheme of the past movies.

I don't see them actually reusing titles of former EU works.

It would have to be a four name title...I dunno.
