ST Liam Neeson Possibly Returning to the Star Wars Franchise??

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new here and I stumbled across an article today from Yahoo in which they interviewed Liam Neeson to promote his new movie Taken 3. In this interview, he was asked about the possibility of reprising his role as Qui-Gon Jinn in Episode 7 or in a spin-off movie in the future. He responded by saying this, " Yeah, I'd say so. Yeah, that'd be terrific." He also said that "He's a Jedi, anything could happen, it's a Star War's world!" Now, I know this is not hard evidence or even much of a rumor, but it would be pretty awesome to have him return as a spirit of a jedi or in a spin-off movie. Let's be honest, the prequels were not exactly stellar but he was definitely one of the best things to come out of them and I would love to see him have a role of some sort in the episode. He also appeared in a few episodes of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars show, so I do not think it is off the table. I wouldn't mind if he appears in VII, but I doubt he will.
what I would like to see is Neeson return for the possible Kenobi movie.

 

There'll be a spin-off where it turns out him & Dooku were actually lovers & his death is what caused Dooku to turn to the darkside.

 

he's a Jedi who taught Batman and that also happened to be Zeus.

 

No more Taken movies, though. He needs to just stop. The first should of sufficed.

I hope he does return to SW (and to Narnia).

 

LOL, didn't even think of the fact that nobody would know him but, now that you mention it, I actually think his appearance in a Kenobi spin-off is more likely than Jinn getting his own spin-off. Either, way, it'd be awesome to see him again.

not just that in TCW it shows that Jinn can only be a voice, so even if Neeson is in VII, you won't see him, which makes the whole thing pointless (for VII), better off keeping him for the possible Kenobi movie, which makes more sense and who knows they could maybe even have flashbacks in the Spinoffs (between Jinn and Kenobi), which is something not done in the Main movies.

 

We are having a nice, quiet conversation and then you gotta come in and ruin it with THAT word.

He does have a certain set of skills

 

The problem I have with his character in a spin off movie is that the Sith are non existent. So why have a spin off movie about a Jedi and nothing, zero to do with the Sith? Perhaps a movie about his role with Sifo Dyas and Doku? I just don't see it.

 

well the Jedi were "Peace keepers" so it doesn't only have to be Jedi vs Sith, Pre Episode 1 the Jedi did not even know about the reemerging Sith yet they still had adventures/missions.

A whole galaxy full of potential worlds, characters and stories ...
