Buff, NY "Liberation" -- Planning Thread (Bisons 2013 Dueling Show)

So, when weather is nice we just go outside the designated indoor sites or are there outdoor places we could use like Bassett? It seems many of the rehearsal sites are generally quite a drive for me. It would be nice to have some outdoor sites that maybe were closer to different people in the group.

 

There are some factors involved, mostly to keep the complaints down. If people were ok with flexibility, we can change locations if the weather gets better, but for simplicity, indoor space has been secured. As we grow, we are spreading out in the area, thus making travel problems across the board. I feel your pain Bill.

We may be able to utilize parks for rehearsal on non scheduled days.

 

Tonight's rehearsal is being moved to Bassett Park. More room to work, and enjoying the outdoor weather.

I have followed up via phone with most everyone who is in the show. Just posting here to be thorough.

 

I've had a few people question when filming will be and I know some of you need to request time off... Here are the dates and TENTATIVE times for filming. Bryan will confirm the times and the exact people needed for each slot, but this way we can hopeful get as many people as possible at some portion of the filming.


Sunday, May 19th:
will be filming for the Luke/Vader/Palpatine scenes. Possibly some Starkiller footage based on people's availability. Time: TBA

Saturday, May 25th:
will start in the morning for the Jedi scene. We will take a break during filming for the 1pm Bisons home game (which we have been invited to watch). We will start filming again after the game (probably around 3:30ish) once the crowd has left.

Please post if and when you are available for those dates and if you will be staying to enjoy the game(we need to let Anthony know).

The 19th will be for: Luke/Vader/Galen/Palpatine shots
We will only need those main characters and a few folks who want to come and be Sith/Bounty Hunters in the background.


The 25th (Start time: some time in the AM, at a location TBA) we will be filming the Jedi conference scene. We will need all available Jedi. Anna, are you available for this?

Since Anthony very graciously invited us to the game and we will all have our costumes we may end up doing a quick on-field promo for SWN.

Once the game is out we'll be doing all of the rest of the filming at the stadium. For that portion we will need Imperials, Sith, bounty hunters, and then the mascots and Jon/Bill R./Anna/ Michelle as their Jedi (who will also need some kind of rough bounty hunter/smuggler getup).

I should be available both days as background fodder.

 

I am interested in being there on the 19th for the apprenticeship. On the 25th, I will be there for the morning but I have to leave at 12 to do a TV show. I'll be back at 2:30ish.

 

We should be good for all dates in May suggested above.

 

I am available the 25th- I may leave noon ish until 230ish for Jonathan's game but I will let you know ASAP. I will also discuss Boba Fett's availability w AJ as well, and post ASAP


Boba Fett is out of town the 19th and therefore unavailable

 

Could probably do that 19th as background fodder if needed. 25th is out.

We can also coordinate a costumed promo for SWN that day while we are at the game.

Bill, you are welcome to stop by the game. We can leave tickets in the changing room if you want to meet up with the rest of the group. Chances are a few people may hang back in the room anyway.
