I must say, I am shocked and slightly confused by Vergere's involvement here. (Unless I'm misreading your subtle hints, that is. I just can't think of anyone else with purple feathers and a beak. ) I just haven't put the pieces together how she fits in on this whole thing. But I can't wait to find out! Here's hoping Jag stay quite-alive, Jaina gets those kids back and Chak remembers enough to kick some serious butt, and soon!

WOW! I just started reading this ('Dubious Engagement' and 'Lies About Love')over the last couple of days, and, Crikey! I was literally glued to the computer reading it! I think I must have got about 3 hours sleep on Saturday night (I did have plans, but they were cancelled ) but I'm definietely not complaining.

Anyway, Really great stuff!

I really was stunned by how much I was into the story. The only other time that happens is when I'm reading Matthew Reilly novels (is he popular in the States at all?) and he's a professional so there you go.

The scariest thing is that I'm finding the emotional, mushy moments the best of all. I have to admit, I think I recall my eyes getting a little teary at several points which is really strange for me.

Oh, I love how Jaina and Jag defected to the Empire (I've always thought of myself as an Imperial). Just tell me they're not gonna end up staying on Coruscant and rejoin the New Republic or something typical like that. That would upset me... and probably only me .

Anyway, I have to stop blabbering on, so keep up the great work, and you must have a big update coming soon. I can hardly wait.

MJ : No I would also hate to see them re-defect, or un-defect back to the New Republic, but that isn't even hinted at, is it? I could be wrong though.

Can't answer your Matt Reilly question, because I'm Australian (what are the chances, huh?). But they should totally hire Reilly to write a Star Wars novel.

I am in the same boat there. I do know one person who likes Matt Reilly books. He's a little weird, into heavy/death metal, and apparently he didn't like Ice Station.

Yet again, that makes two of us. Maybe if we just "up" this a lot, someone will take notice. I was thinking about just flooding Aurra's PM box, but soon realised that was a quick way to being banned...at least. They might send a bounty hunter after me... "No disintegrations!" (yeah, that was lame).

 

Don't worry too much about it.

What? Ice Station is probably his best novel.

1. Nah, I can't see you getting in any trouble. I assume people do that all the time.
2. Yep, pretty lame. I think it makes it worse that it was on a Star Wars web-site.
