Life... and stuff!

Ya know... when ya get to thinking- life really does go by in the blink of an eye! And sometimes we do forget to make the most of every new day! When I was younger I wanted to be older and now I'm older I want to be younger! Jus a wee note to the young uns around here- never wish yer life away or waste yer youth- its goes VERY quickly indeed! I guess i'm feeling melancholy cuz i turn 30 this saturday (hint! hint! loads a prezzies and drink! ) and then ya wonder were the years went! I know I'm not past it at thirty but if the years went so quick until I was thirty then whats to say they wont go very fast til I'm 60! And life IS a journey and not a destination and regrets are a waste of time! I guess there was never a truer word spoken than the person that said we should make the most of EVERYDAY and look out for the ones we love as they/we wont be around for ever!

That's all very heavy stuff GL8MH but true though

Not many people know about this but early this year I had a Cancer scare and believe me, it shakes you to your roots and you look back on your life and suddenly it seems VERY empty of anything. Luckily I was OK but it makes you think and you have an epiphany and suddenly everything seems different. You gotta get out there and do SOMETHING with your life don't sit back and wait for it all to come to you. Appreciate what you have and who you have in your life because it can all be taken away in an instant... NEVER take ANYTHING or ANYONE for granted!

 

well said, Nic! and i'm glad yer cancer scare got the all clear! some arent so lucky- like my relative who died a week or so ago of it!
