I dont know how many of you read the EU books but in them they talk about how people from Corellia that live on Corusant handle the remains of their loved ones. They take them and use the carbon from them to create diamonds and then place them in the ceiling in a chamber. The ceiling is the night sky as seen from corellia. I thought this was an interesting way to imortalize the dead. Then in talking to my sister I found out that this is a real thing http://www.lifegem.com/ how crazy is that. You could get grandma as a blue diamond in a ring. With my luck if I had this done, mine would get messed up with someone else and I would be but in some rappers bling bling necklace.

 

Damn I'll need to take out a heckuva lot more life insurance to pay for that to be done! Clever idea though.

 

I am still not 100 percent sure if I think this is cool or creeps me out.
