Not to worry, I spoke with the folks at the Holiday Inn. They were willing to take you two off the list, because its a family emergency. The gift things have been worked out too (in person, on the phone, arrangements were made)

Abbey and I will not be able to make it tonight. Since her post was a little unclear, her grandmother is dying and is in hospice care. They did not expect her to even make it through the afternoon yesterday. We are heading back to the hospital in a little while to be with her family. We will be at the next meeting.

That was my first Lifeday and it was a good time!

 

I have the presents for Darth Agony, Mrs. Darth Agony, and Ginger. Hopefully they will come to the Feb. meeting.

I had fun at Lifeday and hope everyone else did, too!

We, too, had a very good time. Dinner was fantastic. Buffet-style = vastly superior way of going. Two full platefulls = most excellent. Pie was tasty, too.

glad you had a good time! I actually had a dream about Lifeday on sunday night, and someone won a powerwheels, but it was like a landspeeder, and had a radio and a dump truck...this was right after my dream about the little australopithecines' in Africa and such...yeah i studied waaaaay too much this weekend
