This is not a costumed event. But thanks for bringing that up. Fighters should wear comfortable clothing that they feel comfortable fighting in.

 

Fighters. There are now only 17 fighters as Lisa had to drop out due to physical issues.

We all hope that you feel better soon.

 

Weapon size.

This took a bit of time to deside... and the desition has been made to give the appropriate preseved fairness to all fighters.

It has been desided that standard Shani will be the only alowed weapons. Max size 39 inches (which is the max size that they are sold, so it is almost certain that the Shani that you have will work just fine). The weapon must be the full four planks (no two or three plank weapons).

I know that it has been a concern that people are used to fighting with other weapons... and you still will be able to when not in tournament. I am confedent in all of the abbilities of our class mates.

am i only going to get to use one blade to kill people with?

You can use two blades to kill people... Just switch between fights. And yes they have to be four plankers.

practice is good. good sportsmanship is good. talking s and being mean is not good. we will see the measure of this groups worth.

I might be late. I hope everyone enters this with a good attitude and doesn't get buttered if they lose. Or taunt if they win. Unsportsmanlike conduct will be bad. I am not the head instructor but I am the Vice-chancellor of this club. The rules in the charter will be upheld and anyone being mean or acting poorly will be talked to and action will be taken from there. The main point is to have fun. The best fighter that day will win but on any given wednesday, anyone can win so good luck to all and may the force be with you.

That aside, I wish each and every participant the very best of luck.

Given the circumstances, Don will most assuredly not be with us tomorrow but it is hoped that he will be back next week. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers

If you still wish to partisipate, you are requested to show up to the tournament... and if a spot opens (some one does not show up for the fight... which I hope does not happen) then you may fill in for that person.
