not going to disagree with you on the power of Palpatine, I think he was probably the most powerful Sith ever. Master strategist & also a powerful Sith.

If Anakin was "the Chosen one" & supposedly the most powerful he never achieved his true potential. That's all it was, no real power just potential for enormous power, therefore Luke, who probably had less potential went on to be the greatest Jedi Master in the history of the Jedi.

If Grand Master Skywalker faced Palpatine, Luke would whip his @$$ so bad !!
