Lightning Perspective

    I have Adobe After effects 5.5 and am trying to get a shot, multiple shots actually, of force lightning coming towards the camera. All I have is the simple lighning effect under render.

    What is the best way to make it look smaller farther away and larger closer up? I can't find a setting that does this, is there a skew effect or some other means of doing it? Thanks in advance.
