Jeez, IA, keep the clothes on! You don't want to give them any more to drool about.

LOL...I think those contact lenses did a pretty good job of turning everyone off.

    [face_laugh] [face_laugh] [face_laugh] [face_laugh]

Those contacts were CREEPY!! Once you see 'em, you just keep seeing them! You can't even focus on talking because they're so distracting! Now I know how the rest of the cast felt around Ray Park while they were filming Darth Maul scenes...

I'll tell you, they're not very comfortable, though. My eyes wouldn't quit watering while I was wearing them and the colored part cuts down on some of your peripherial vision. I might not be able to defend myself if I were attacked by a bunch of lightsabre-weilding maniacs... ;)

My wife got my tunic done today!!! Woohoo!!! And her mother showed up, and made an incredible hood for it. It's huge, and is very impressive. Tomorrow I'll add the snaps to hold the tunics in place.

I highly recommend that all Jedi add snaps to hold their tabbards in place. The last time I wore my jedi outfit, they kept slipping off. There are simple sew in snaps that won't show on the outside of the costume, and they're 8/$2.00 at Jo-Ann Fabrics. They make a world of difference.

    just a tip. ;)

Now if I would only get my helmet in the mail. <sigh> When I do, it'll be rush time.

What's that, being attacked by a bunch of lightsabre-weilding maniacs?

Glad to hear you guys had a great time.

I really wish I could have come because I'm new at constructing a saber and of course I picked a difficult design. I did get a Dremel rotary tool over the weekend so hopefully things will pick up.

So after the line up, will there be a another construction party?

These parties will probably continue for as long as the PFF (Rebel Legion) exists. They are to much fun to give up and most people don't want to give up at just one costume or lightsaber.

For anyone interested the Rebel Legion will be having some costume/prop making parties as well in the future. We could do a joint PFF one! :)

just about done w/ my second saber hilt!

(not actually mine, making it for a fellow RMFFer).

It's pretty cool so far, I'm pretty much making it like the one on the left in the pic I showed you except with a different grip (same grip as the one on the far right in the pic).

I'LL post pics as soon as I get them...
