FF:NSW Lightsaber duel. Anyone interested??

    I've been wanting to film a lightsaber duel for fun for a long time. Anyone interested in this?

    Where are you? Sadly Im in SA, but hey, @Corellian_Outrider is in teh right business, and know those you need for this ;)

    I've done this before, but it is against the law...apparently.

    Hi @Psychadelicsith, what type of filming project are you planning? Is it for a fan film or just a duel sequence?

    Yeah, we were doing it here and the police actually stopped us saying we were using dangerous weapons without the appropriate safety precautions. Seriously, we were hitting each other with sticks...and yeah, it hurt. :p But we were told to cease and desist or we'd be charged with wielding a dangerous weapon..

    Yeah, and Lightsabers are real and all.....MRs are real, but hey, I could bash my husband with a broom stick and get the same result!!!

    There in a new group in Sydney called the Sydney Saber Arena.

    Originally based on Mediaeval reenactment combat techniques, we are now supplementing our training in line with Bujinkan (Ninja) martial arts sword training, with a mix of freestyle combat and choreograph elements.
