This is Version 2.0 of the "Lightsaber Duel Thread". The following guidelines that should be followed by anyone who wishes to duel in this game thread. By posting in this thread, you agree to these guidelines. Those individuals who choose not to stay within these guidelines will be subject to moderator-given consequences. DO's [ol][li]Have Fun[/li] [li]Note than anyone can duel in this thread. No rank, or Jedi/Sith affiliation from any other JC thread is related to this thread. [/li] [li]Report any problems or issues to a mod immediately, if not resolved on their own thru a private message. [/li] [/ol] DONT's [ol][li]Role play, remember, this is a dueling thread and while there is some roleplaying type things involved, it is not primarily a role playing thread. If you wish to roleplay, please feel free to check out the [link=http://boards.theforce.net/role_playing_forum/b10328/p1]Role Playing Forum[/link]. More specifically, this means posts should be more like this: *Anakin swings directly at Dooku's head* than like this: *Anakin elegantly twirls his saber in a stylish fashion, before sending the plasma blade flying for his opponent, Dooku's head, hoping to cleave it off* [/li] [li]Spam, no double posts, edit your last post if needed. A little chatter is okay, but NOT a full blown RP type scenario[/li] [li]God-mod*, if you feel you are god-modded against, please halt the duel and PM a forum moderator. They will then investigate the situation in the duel as best they can. A "verdict" will be posted as soon as possible and then the duel may resume if needed. [/li] [li]Socialize unnecessarily. Chatting should be kept related to the duels and should be kept to a minimum. If you feel a need to socialize more than this thread supports, please visit the Cloud City Cantina.[/li] [li]Fight in any way not related to the duel, or arguing among duelists is prohibited. Any concerns, please use PMs instead of the thread or contact a moderator with questions and concerns. [/li] [/ol] *Definition of god-modding: God mod is where a duelist will try to control his/her opponent(s) actions or movements illegally to try to win the duel.
