Lightsaber Duel Thread - Bring Your Lightsaber!

comes into arena, takes off robe and meditates

 

*Sensing kitty's presence, SH2 draws his hilt into his right hand while focusing on kitty's movements*

 

gets up from meditating, ingnites lightsaber, and awaits for shiphunk's first move

 

Lets test something first....*SH2 uses the Force and breaks loose some piping and board structure from the walls and sends them flying toward kitty and at the same time the room begins to shake...SH2 leaps in the air at the same time igniting his green saber*

 

uses force push, pushes all of the objects to the other side of the room, afterwards, turns around to meet sh2's lightsaber

 

*SH2 lands behind kitty and leg sweeps at her feet in a crouch position while bringing his blade upward in an uppercut attack motion*

 

jumps away and blocks myself with lightsaber.

 

*Rolls forward swiping his blade inward toward kitty's mid-section*

 

blocks midsection with lightsaber.

 

And??....you need to do better than that Master kitty!....

*Room starts to settle down as SH2 pushes off of kitty's blade and flips backward and lands in a defensive sideway stance*

 

turns around to meet shiphunk who is behind me. takes lightsaber, and swings it at ship's neck while walking around him

 

*SH2 laughs as he raises his blade with one hand to easily parry away the strike into a saber lock with his blade pointing at near kittys neck. SH2 then spins around with a back heel kick to kittys upper thigh*

IC: There is no way to avoid this kick without letting go of the saber lock and allowing me to cut you down

 

~SR appears from nowhere high above the arena in the rafters, carefully watching the duel below between the two jedi. It had been quite some time since he had been in the arena. But he was eager to duel another.~

 

gets kicked down, while holding onto lightsaber. gets up, uses force pull onto sh2, while having lightsaber in position to attack sh2

 

*counters the attack easily with a force push to neutralize the movement. SH2 raises his green blade diagnolly across his body waiting for another attack*

Thats it??

 

puts lightsaber against sh2's blade, and tries to push him back with the force of my push

 

*Uses kittys force push to push him around and returns to the front to slash upwards toward kittys saber arm* Master Kitty, surely you can do better?!

 

blocks slash, spins around and starts to slash at ship's open back

 

*without turning SH2 places his blade behind him with both hands to block the attack from behind then lunges his blade backward into kitty's face*

Better!

 

*The Sith Apprentice, Darth Deprecor, emerged from the shadows of the arena, where he had been watching the duel intently. SH2 was obviously the better dueslist, and Deprecor watched him closely, paying little attention to his opponent. Deprecor was constantly searching for a worthy opponent, one whom would provide a challenge for him to hone and perfect his sword play, and SH2 looked like one that would provide that which he sought. The only thing that the Sith Apprentice sought was a chance to improve his saber-handling, and he could certainly learn something from this duelist. He watched closely, noting fighting style, technique, posture, and everything and anything else that he could use to his advantage if he ever challenged the Jedi. He gripped his twin sabers tightly, lusting for combat. He stepped backwards, the shadows of the arena swallowing up the Sith Apprentice once more. Deprecor continued to observe the duel from his previous vantage point, masking his presence in the Force. The Sith Apprentice made sure the duelist would only detect a slight flicker of a presence within the Force, and knew that if they delved deeper into the Force to detect Deprecor, it would cause too large of a distraction and possibly cost that combatant the duel. He was careful not to give himself away, he was here only as an observer for now.*

 

~ SR was still observing the duel below from high above in the rafters. His skills with a blade were very rusty and he enjoyed watching the two jedi; master and padawan train. He grinned a little before turning downward, sensing a familiar presence in the arena. His smile grew wider, he soon grabbed a small rock from on top of the rafters and threw it down to where he sensed the presence. Still careful not to distract the two Jedi.~

 

*The Sith Apprentice was alerted to another presence within the arena, one that was very familiar to him, his old master. A small object was thrown from the rafters and landed a few feet in front of Deprecor, making a slight but audible tapping sound when it hit. Deprecor grinned, thinking of his previous training under the Shadow Jedi, possibly the most valuable training he had recieved during his path down the Force, the ability to conceal ones presence in the Force, the ability to dissapear completely from the naked eye, as well as many other techniques, all ones that had proved invaluable tools in his life, past and present. There had been very many...altercations between Deprecor and his new master, Darth Traditor, and he thought about his decision of allegiances constantly, though his new loyalty would not faulter. He still respected his old master greatly, and looking back, he could not remember the reason he had sought training under another. The Shadow Jedi was without a doubt a worthy opponent, and Deprecor longed to observe how much more powerful his master had become since they last met, though the Sith Apprentice was merely here as an onlooker for the time being. Deprecor's eyes drifted out of focus momentarily, reminiscing of the past, then snapped back to the presence, and focused his attention on the ongoing duel.*

 

*While in a saber lock with kitty, SH2 sensed a slight disturbance in the Force and he turned a slight motion to listen within the walls around him using the Force to feel for the presence. A sound was also heard just seconds after. He listened and then the presence seemed to be of a dark nature but also of strong will and determination. SH2 grinned and turned back to kitty and leaped over her landing on a small ledge behind her and while landing, immediately searched the area quickly over again for the presence he just felt a moment ago. All awhile trying not to be distracted from the younger Jedi Master in front of him.*

 

*The Jedi Master freed himself from the duel effortlessly, vaulting over his opponent and landing on a small outcropping behind his opponent. Deprecor hadn't wanted to distract the Jedi, though he seemed to have remained in control of the duel, and he searched for the Sith Apprentice. Deprecor felt confident in his abilities with the Force, and masked his Force presence completely, the small presence the two Jedi were alerted to flickered then dissapeared, though he remained among the shadows of the arena, watching the duel carefully, pacing slightly. He knew he would have to return to his master shortly, though he enjoyed watching this duel, and remained in the arena for the time being. Maybe next time he would find an opponent, this time he had been merely an observer, not having the time to engage himself in a duel.*
