    Sunday's class was great!

Special suprise guest appearance by PHIL!!!

It's only his second or third time here. Is he trying to tell me something? Smudge, Matt and course Liz were there too. Lori wasn't due to her being out of town.

    Update on progress:

Matt is getting better and better getting in DK's on me a lot. His Mother also came to cheer him on. Hmmmm....maybe she better stay at home next time, that could be why he was doing so well. Just kidding, it was a pleasure to have her come down and see just what kind of people her son was dealing with. She said we were so nice. Boy, do we have her fooled.

Liz is getting freakin' dangerous. She only has a couple of weak spots. When she gets those solved, I think I am in a lot of trouble. Maybe I should retire...Naw, that would make too many people happy.

Since the baby has been born I have been wicked busy. Besides, I am a little afraid to show my face again after punkin' out on everyone for the paintball day after hyping it up so much. P.S. Hey Smudge! I've been cleaning out my shop since I got my power upgrade for my lathe and I have some stuff I have been saving for weapon projects that I probably will never get around to. Not much, but if you are interested and can use them for your creations, I'll PM you the details.

To whom it may concern. I have been a regular on Wednesday nights when I am not in school for 2 years. Don't ask me, because you are new, if I am new to the class.

Do any of you use carbon fiber blades?

Are they acceptable to bring to class?

Nobody's tried them yet, though I have been meaning to order one from Randomsabers to give it a try. Go ahead and bring it and we'll check it out.

I actually dont have one yet.

I was considering getting a Practice Saber from RandomSabers with a carbon fiber blade.
The saber would just be a 1-1/2" diameter blank alumminum tube, which holds a 3/4" diameter blade.
The tube itself is only $7

Has anyone tried the acrylic blades from Randomsabers? I would imangine they would shatter, but what do I know...

On Don's reccomendation, I'll probably want a beater blade for my Parks. I think Don said to get the poly carb tubes, and put the wood dowel and shiny wrapping paper in it. I think Custom Saber Shop has that stuff (at least the polycarb and the acrilic tips) but, yeah.

A member on the RandomSabers forum ordered two acrylic blades for dueling and they both broke, that's why I'm considering getting a CF blade.
