Got my green Ultrasaber all fixed up this afternoon. Soldered the new battery case in. First time soldering. It was a fun challenge!
Because of the expenses of my costume and my recently purchased Luke/Anakin hilt, i have no money for the Prom . Thank the Force that the old lady next door needs me to shovel!!
Has anyone heard about the new "FX" lightsaber hasbro came out with? It's only 35 credits, and is called the Ultimate Force Tech lightsaber. The blade is of lesser quality, and is much smaller than the regular Fx's. The hilt is also plastic, but it's meant for kids, so it's an ideal size
Jeff is nice. I've never had a problem with him. The clip is pretty decent; I got one of those too. Seems to work well with covertech wheels (prequel-style). I've found though it's not the greatest (compared to other options) for D-ring sabers, only because the hook for the D-ring is so shallow. My saber was able to stay on there if I stood still, but if I moved, it would be prone to dropping off. Still, for a freebie it's really cool and does handle covertechs pretty well.
When I sold my Kit Fisto (Japanese Schoolgirl Lightsaber) last year I was sad because I like that design. I'll miss it but as they say, when one door closes and another opens: Hasbro Force FX Signature Series with removeable blade I told Nancy this was just in time for my 45th birthday! I think I'll be allright...
Just saw the Toy Fair pics of these. These would be great for the Younglings. A shame they don't drop until August, however.
