Full Series Lightsabers

This is where we will talk about light sabers and there unique looks in rebels.

 

Well;at least having a blaster-lightsaber combo Ezra is going to be able to keep it hidden from the Empire easier. I mean, they might just think it's a funny looking modified blaster and no one will bat an eye.

 

I like Kanan's the most, even though it's basically regular, I really like the whole snap-click-ignite-fight idea

Lol makes you wonder if they took the idea from Final Fantasy... Ezra's we are getting doesn't bother me. The inquisitor's spinning double bladed lightsaber.... It just seems like when encountering a person who uses two hands with one blade, that more force can be applied towards the inquisitor and put him at a slight disadvantage when using his lightsaber with both ends extended.

One thing I do like, is that they have explicitly stated how the length of the blade is determined, the knob on the side. I had always assumed, but never really known for sure.

 

I still live in fear of the inquisitor using his lightsaber as a helicopter, to actually fly with. Lightsabers do not work that way! Neither do helicopters!

Oddly enough, if it had ordinary metal sword blades and they were angled correctly, it would be borderline plausible. But lightsabers with their omnidirectional geometry... nope!

Yeah, I have that same fear as well.....

 

Ezra has finally has the schwartz, a lightsaber that fires bolts,lol.

 

At least its better then the slingshot.

 

God, that thing needs to go away.....

 

Seems to be stun bolts rather than lethal much like his slingy.

A 14 year old shalt not kill in a Disney show.

14 year old Ahsoka hacked people up, blew them away with her starfighter etc.

14 year old Padme led a running gun battle from the front, wielding a real blaster firing lethal blaster bolts.

14 year old Ezra gets a stun gun.

 

Do we know if it's stun.

 

There's solution for that. Retcon all stormtroopers so that they're battle droids instead.

Think about it logically: they are not going to have their 15-year old audience surrogate SHOOTING people dead. It's just not going to happen. There's a difference (in my mind) between shooting and slicing

 

Not really they both equal death.

 

Ezra's looks like a staple gun.

 

A non lethal blaster built into a lightsaber seems such a waste, considering a lightsaber is a deadly weapon. Should have went all the way with a full fledged blaster with the option to stun.

 

I'm Just surprised that imperials won't be able to detect that the thing is a lightsaber.
