Just wanted to let the forum members in the motherland know that my dv short - Li'l Jedi is available for download. It's probably the only Star Wars fanfilm that made it to TFN made by a Filipino and starring Filipinos! Surf over to www.teknomage.com, hit the downlink, enjoy!

    Wow! Impressive resume, DK. :)

But I don't know why I couldn't see the fanfilm. I've got the QuickTime screen on, but nothing's playing.

    Hi Jedi_Ginny,
Thanks for stopping by. If you can't see Li'l Jedi, you probably have an older version of quicktime running on your system. You have to have version 5 or better. Li'l Jedi was compressed for the net with the On2 codec that comes bundled with later versions of quicktime so you might have to download that as well if your version isn't running it.
I''ve also had e mails from PC folks having problems with hearing audio and seeing nothing. For some strange reason this seems to be a recurring scenario for PC folks (Mac folks have no problem) and probably has to do with the platform. You did'nt mention if you were running a PC or Mac. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I was able to download the On2, but nothing's happening. Will check my QuickTime though. :D Thanks for the tip. Cool site, nonetheless. Or at least, the other sections I could see. LOL.

    Jedi Ginny,
Some guy over in Amsterdam was having similar problems that you describe. He found a way around the problem by downloading something called, "FlashGet" for the pc. He was able to see video after that.

    Hope this helps. DK

Just wanted to let the forum members know that Li'l Jedi is now available for download at IFILM. Just go to the following link:

    http://www.ifilm.com/ifilm/product/film_info/0,3699,2451743,00.html

and it should bring you straight to the download page.

Some folks e mailed me that they had trouble :( downloading from my website. Hopefully the IFILM site will work for them and they'll be able to finally see LI'l JEDI. The techs over there compressed the film both in Quicktime and Real Media formats.

    Enjoy!

    DK ;)
