I think this is May 10th. A good parade and fun with the Rochester 501st, RL and FF. Who's up for it.

    Yes, Saturday May 10th.
We typically meet at 8:30am to get suited up.

We don't need to be to the line-up spot until 9:30am/9:45am, so the 8:30am start is an hour to:

arrive at Monroe Community Hospital (can provide directions later)
go to the bathroom, hydrate, have a quick breakfast snack
    get suited up
walk (or maybe ride if we get a transport lined up) to the meet-up spot

So if you think it would take you less than an hour to do the above, you can arrive later than 8:30am, but....
So far I think we've found that (once you add in the kibitzing) 8:30am is a good meet-up time. ;)

For those that might not be up to the entire walk - we will have a nice truck in the parade that you can ride in the back of.

What do we need to bring for the picnic?

    Cucumber sandwiches?

    I'm not sure yet...
We'll probably get a list going next month.
I would say bring something that would keep well between when you leave town and the picnic as it'll probably be sitting in a car that whole time.

Just wanted to bump this a little bit as I'm hoping to mail out the application tomorrow and wanted to get as accurate a head count as possible.

Sounds like we have Ian definitely and probably Bob & family?

You have me and at least the three kids, I'm working on my wife. I want her to come up as a handler for the girls and Austin and myself.

So far we're doing pretty good on side dishes, so if you're looking for something to bring as a dish to pass I'll stear you towards desserts or snack foods.
If you're keen on bringing a side dish, we already have mac salad, pasta salad, potato salad and a 5 baked bean dish.
Another option would bring some 2 litres of your favorite soda.

Hello everyone. Cool parade and pinic. How is everyone getting up there? Besides the usual use of a Landspeeder. Err I mean car.

Thanks so much to Bob & family for joining us at the parade! :D
Especially our helpful banner carriers - we really appreciate you once again taking on that task for us.

Make sure to pencil in May 9th 2009 as we're planning on being in the parade again next year!
