    Anakin says to Obi-Wan at the beginning of AOTC "You're the one who saved me from that nightmare".
    And also Threepio says it in the droid factory "It's a nightmare!"

    TPM-
    ANAKIN: Hey! Wait for me.
    QUI-GON: No, Annie, you stay there. Stay right where you are.
    ANAKIN: But, I...
    QUI-GON: Stay in that cockpit.

    ANH-
    LUKE: I want to go with you.
    OBI-WAN: Be patient, Luke. Stay and watch over the droids.
    LUKE: But he can...
    OBI-WAN: They must be delivered safely or other star systems will suffer the same fate as Alderaan. Your destiny lies along a different path than mine. The Force will be with you...always!

    Both are the last times mentor and apprentice speak, before each Master is killed.

    Another related one-

    TPM-
    QUI-GON: Nothing happens by accident.
    ANH-
    OBI-WAN: In my experience there is no such thing as luck.

    And...

    TPM-
    QUI-GON: Feel, don't think. Trust your insincts.
    ANH-
    OBI-WAN: Stretch out with your feelings.

    I can't remember if I have posted these before.

    TPM

    Padme: It's beautiful, but I don't need this to remember you by.

    Qui-Gon: Always remember, your focus determines your reality.

    AOTC

    Anakin: I've thought about her every day since we parted and she's forgotten me completely.

    Mace: Remember, Obi-Wan, if the prophecy is true, your apprentice is the only one who can bring the Force back into balance.

    Taun We: Tell your council that the first battalions are ready, and remind them, if they need more troops, it will take time to grow them.

    Dooku: You forget that he was once my apprentice, just as you were once his.

    ROTS

    Anakin: I remember when I gave this to you.

    ANH

    Obi-Wan: I don't seem to remember ever owning a droid.

    C-3PO: I forgot, I turned it off.

    TESB

    Obi-Wan: So was I, if you remember.

    Han: That was a long time ago*, I'm sure he's forgotten about that.

    Yoda: Remember your failure at the cave!

    ROTJ

    Luke: What do you remember about your mother?

    Luke: It is the name of your true self, you have only forgotten.

    *A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away....

    The saga is really one long excursion about memory and the passing-down of knowledge. Think of all the references and motifs to do with lineage; promises and consequences; repeating dialogue, music, imagery and situations; computer memory banks and tactical information; learning/teaching and teaching/learning, acquisition/loss and loss/acquisition, etc. On a broader level, the SW films are a mythic repository of feelings and facets of oral, literary and visual (especially film-based) stories: a kind of free-form cultural memory. Memory and projection are so important to Star Wars and to humans -- without them, we recall nothing and go nowhere. My 0.02 cents.

    My favourite:

    ROTS:

    Sidious: Are you going to kill me?
    Anakin: I would certainly like to!
    Sidious: I know you would... I can feel your anger. It gives you focus. Makes you stronger.

    ROTJ:

    Sidious: Good, I can feel your anger. I am defenseless. Take your weapon. Strike me down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the dark side will be complete!

    ^^^ I like that one too.

    A few more...

    ROTS-
    PALPATINE (to his aides): Leave us.

    ROTJ-
    VADER: Good work, Commander. Leave us.

    and...

    EMPEROR: Guards, leave us.

    ROTS-
    DOOKU: I've been lookin forward to this.

    ROTJ-
    EMPEROR: I've been looking forward to completing your training.

    DOOKU and SIDIOUS planned to turn Anakin, VADER and SIDIOUS plan to turn Luke. Just one of many links between these two scenes.

    **********************************************************************************************************************
    AOTC-
    DOOKU: Master Kenobi, you disappoint me. Yoda holds you in such high esteem.

    ESB-
    VADER: All too easy. Perhaps you are not as strong as the Emperor thought.

    Thoughts?

    Return of the Jedi; Luke in Jabba's palace:
    Luke: "You can either profit by this or be destroyed"

    Revenge of the Sith: Scene before Anakin and Obi-Wan duel:
    Anakin: "If you're not with me, you're my enemy"

    Obi-Wan replies "Only a Sith deals in absolutes"

    I get the feeling Luke had alot more sith tendencies than we where led to believe. Maybe that's the balance, he can use either side equally and without being swayed one way or the other

    Seemed normal to me... But yeah his force use was so hit and miss, like choking the guards and jedi mind tricking the attendant but yet he needs to throw a rock at a simple switch to kill the rancor. He couldnt even open the small gate to escape the pit. Ah, well it's still a great movie.

    One within AOTC, and relevant to ROTS...

    OBI-WAN: Well if droids could think, there would be none of us here would there.

    LAMA SU: Clones can think creatively, and you will find they are far superior to droids.

    Besides the philosophical aspect of Obi-Wan's comment, this strongly foreshadows the clones wiping the Jedi out.

    Some more AOTC ones. More foreshadowing than mirrors. Most have been posted before.

    ANAKIN: I'd much rather dream about Padme. Just being around her again is... intoxicating.

    Ironic because dreaming about Padme drives Anakin towards the darkside in the next movie.
    ******

    OBI-WAN: Why do I get the feeling you are going to be the death of me?

    Vader of course eventually kills Obi-Wan, and another possible irony is in the fact that this partially makes Luke stronger.
    ******

    ANAKIN: I hate sand. It's course, and rough, and it gets everywhere.

    Reference to Tatooine, but more importantly forshadowing Anakin's experience on the sandy lavabank of Mustafar.
    ******

    PADME: ...the trouble is the people don't always agree.
    ANAKIN: Then they should be made to.
    PADMÉ: By whom? Who's going to make them?
    ANAKIN: I don't know. Someone.
    PADMÉ: You?
    ANAKIN: Of course not me.

    Irony again, Vader in the OT is of course very forceful.
    ******

    ANAKIN: The thought of not being with you...I can't breathe.

    More foreshadowing, to Vader on a respirator, and perhaps another irony in the fact that being with Padme causes Anakin's turn, and losing her, not being with her, is the final nail in the coffin.
    ******

    ANAKIN: Obi-Wan is going to kill me.

    Foreshadowing; Obi-Wan fails as Anakin's mentor (especially compared to his tutleage of Luke), so is partially responsible for Anakin's metaphorical death, and he also cripples him in ROTS.

    I'm watching AOTC at the moment, might post more later.

    EDIT: Thanks Stampid :)

    A fairly obvious one;

    AOTC-
    ANAKIN: I saw my mother. I saw her as clearly as I see you now. She is in pain. I know I'm disobeying my mandate to protect you Senator, but I have to go. I have to help her!
    PADMÉ: I'll go with you.
    ANAKIN: I'm sorry, I don't have a choice.

    ESB-
    LUKE: I saw... I saw a city in the clouds.
    YODA: Friends you have there.
    LUKE: They were in pain.
    ...
    LUKE: I can't get the vision out of my head, they're my friends and I've gotta help them.
    ...
    OBI-WAN: It is you and your abilities the Emperor wants, that is why your friends are made to suffer.
    LUKE: That's why I have to go.

    Mindfulness in TPM(1):

    First real exchange between major characters(2):

    OBI-WAN (to QUI-GON): But Master Yoda said I should be mindful of the future.

    QUI-GON (to OBI-WAN): (But not at the expense of the moment). Be mindful of the Living Force, my young padawan.

    * * *

    On Coruscant:

    MACE (to ANAKIN): Be mindful of your feelings(3).

    QUI-GON (to ANAKIN): I'm not allowed to train you, so I want you to watch me and be mindful.

    * * *

    Shortly after Coruscant:

    DARTH SIDIOUS: Lord Maul, be mindful(4).

    * * *

    Lucas has called himself a "Buddhist Methodist", and in Buddhism, "mindfulness" is an essential part of the creed.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mindfulness

    * * *

    NOTES:

    (1) George Lucas has previously remarked that TPM is the filmic equivalent of him "laying pipe" so that themes and tropes are established and carried through the other installments. Seems appropriate, then, that this word crops up multiple times, out of the mouths of esteemed authority figures with a connection to something that is both mundane and sublime.

    (2) Nice that this exchange is right at the start and that both Jedi bat the word at each other. Also, this discussion takes place just before they walk to and settle at a large window, overlooking Naboo, a planet rich in life, and Gungans, and Jar Jar Binks -- Qui-Gon's admonition to Obi-Wan about the "Living Force" is about to be put to the test.

    (3) Obi-Wan's admonition to Anakin in the next movie, "Be mindful of your thoughts", contrasts starkly with Mace's, "Be mindful of your feelings", which follows Ki-Adi-Mundi's line, "Your thoughts dwell on your mother..." Feelings give rise to thoughts, don't they? Or might thoughts also give rise to feelings? Is one Jedi more "correct" than the other?

    (4) Note that the villain of the saga says the line last in the film. Via hologram. Ultimately, Darth Maul fails to be "mindful" of Obi-Wan, who kills Maul in a (not-so) surprise attack. "The Phantom Menace" = Words That Are Heard But Not Heeded?

    Just threw some additional annotations in.

    You should always give me a wide berth. I'm finicky and verbose. :p

    * * *

    But yeah... The Master <> Apprentice relationship motif is strong in TPM.

    I also love how Yoda pronounces at the close of the film (about the Sith): "Always two there are. No more, no less. A master and an apprentice." This is also the exact arrangement the Jedi have made LAW:

    "An apprentice you already have, Qui-Gon. Impossible to take on a second."

    "The Code forbids it."

    * * *

    "The Sith and the Jedi are similar in almost every way..."

    * * *

    Anyway, you've also got Mace using the line. He may not be Anakin's formal master at any point, but he is kinda teaching him. Listen to the way Sam Jackson says the words. There's a degree of softness there. Mace is guiding Anakin; albeit, in a very terse, no-nonsense way.
