How about this one, it is very obvious:

Yoda: Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering...

TPM-- Anakin is afraid (new big world, without mother, etc)
AotC-- Anakin is angry (i.e. he thinks life is not fair, mother dead, can't have it all)
RotS-- Anakin has turned to hate (i.e. slaughters younglings)
Rest of Saga (refering to the ...)--- Anakin is suffering as is the entire Galaxy.

The Dark Side is clouding the Jedi's vision all throughout the PT, right?

so at the very end, in the Throne room it all comes back to bite Palpy in the ass (karma I guess), and the light side is clouding his vision. He is wrong in everything he predicts.

"I'm looking forward to completing your training. In time you will call me Master."--Luke never calls him Master, actually Luke is the one who converts the one who does call him Master.

"Oh, no, my young Jedi. You will find that it is you who are mistaken...about a greatmany things."--actually it is Palpy who is mistaken, not Luke

"Ah, yes, a Jedi's weapon. Much like your father's. By now you must know your father can never be turned from the dark side. So will it be with you."--wrong again, Vader can and will be turned back, and Luke will not share Vader's fate.

"Yes...I assure you we are quite safe from your friends here."--...ah, no. He was not safe, the Death Star blew up and the Impirials lost.

"Your faith in your friends is yours"--it was actually Palpys fate in his friend (Vader)that was his weakness.

"From here you will witness the final destruction of the Alliance, and the end of your insignificant Rebellion."-- actually it was the destruction of the Empire they witnessed from that window.

"It is unavoidable. It is your destiny. You,like your father, are now mine!--it was avoidable, it was not their destiny, and Luke like his father did not belong to the Emperor at the end.

"Your fleet has lost. And your friends on the Endor moon will not survive. There is no escape, my young apprentice. The Alliance will die...as will your friends."--again, the opposite happend

"If you will not be turned, you will be destroyed."--Palpy was the one who was destroyed, duh!

"Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the dark side. You have paid the price for your lack of vision."--Not Luke's skills, but his love were more than a match to the Dark Side, and it is the Emperor who paid the price for lack of vision.

I just love how the end of RotJ parallels the entire PT, as the Jedi were blind and did not see the threat of the Sith, so was the Emperor blind and did not see the threat of Luke. As the Jedi were sort of arrogant and did not feel the need to change their ways, they paid a price and were distroyed just like the Emperor was too arrogant to feel a threat from Luke and the Rebells. At the end, Vader/Anakin caused the distruction of both of them.

I thought I posted this one in this thread but it must have been another. In the spirit of keeping this thread on the roll, I'll post it again:

It's interesting to note (especially with the lead up dialogue in both respective scenes) that Yoda was indeed the arrogant one in RotS and then in RotJ the Emperor is the arrogant one. Then again on the turn around of dialogue between these two scenes, Yoda states "Faith in your new apprentice, misplaced may be....." as a weakness, and as it was Anakin was Sidious' "friend", so it turns out that the Emperor's faith in his friend Vader in RotJ did indeed turn out to be a weakness... I love the ironies here... Again, I urge you all to check out the lead up dialogue between these two scenes, excellent irony in there.

Obi-wan to Anakin in AOTC: "Why do I get the feeling you're going to be the death of me?"

Vader was unwilling to mention Padme's name out of fear that he would re-open old memories of that final meeting they had together on Mustafar. Vader would go insane with rage over what he did to Padme(which we all know he didn't really kill her) so used Obi-wan's name to remind Luke of why he could never give up the Dark Side.

Good try but as I said in the very first post the thread is for lines of dialogue that resemble each other, not direct copies of each other

It could compliment the same situation.

Anakin about to get in a space battle. Han about to get in a space battle.

 

It's more of a case of Anakin rushing headlong into a space battle, whereas Han was doing all he could to avoid one. Anakin considered himself a great warrior whereas Han considered himself a great "outrunner", so to speak. The line may be the same but the intent of the one who speaks it is completely different.

 

Not sure if this one has been mentioned but here goes:

Padme: "I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee."
