List of Elements Immune to the Lightsaber

Water is questionable. TPM has lightsabers that can't be used under water. However, some of the TPM sources state that post TPM, the Jedi produced water resistant lightsabers so that they could be used under water. Luke in fact proves this to be true in SotME.

 

Wasn't wherever Luke was locked up (?) originally in Dark Empire resistant/immune to lightsabers? It's been so long I really can't remember.

 

I haven't read TP< in a while. but the reson that Obi Wans lightsaber burned out was because he had it on standby or something, so that the water short circuted it and drained his power. Anakin and others who use thier sabers underwater may have waterproofed them or something to prevent fizzeled ouyt sabers

 

Are you refering to the Universal Energy Cage or the Mandalorian Prison Ship. I'm not sure, but I think it was mentioned somewhere that the prision ship had Mandalorian irion put into cells where the Jedi were held, though there was something special about the cells that was to prevent escape. The energy cages were designed with Jedi in mind, so they most likely are lightsaber resistant.
