    Next door's neighbor giving their kid some kind of horn for Christmas. We've already had 'words' due to it playing the horn late in the evening. It sounds like someone killing a seal from my side of the wall.

    This. So much this. Being awoken by a loud noise at 2 in the ******* AM because my dip**** idiot neighbors dropped something on their bedroom floor (which happens to be just above mine) is enough to send me and my wife - especially my wife - into a berzerker rage.

    People who have to one-up everyone else on how hard they work, and/or how hard they work despite having been so much sicker than everyone they know.

    STFU. No one likes a martyr.

    The "back in my day" people and the people who talk about being "old" in a serious manner as opposed to the jokes some of us make around here about you kids getting off our lawns. No, kids "back in your day" were not better behaved, in fact, due to anti-bullying programs that have gotten traction the past several years, modern-day kids are less likely to be tolerant of other kids being little ***holes than kids were "back in your day." This phenomenon is really annoying when it comes from someone only a few years older than I am.
