All of it ruled, but the cherry parts for me were:

-Yoda: "If so powerful you are, why leave?" then, ignites saber!
-The inner-cutting of Padme giving birth & Vader been constructed.
-Yoda throwing his saber @ a clone trooper.
-Vader's mask coming down on him.
-Cutting Dooku's hands off,... <-- DIRTY!
-PALPATNIE ROCKED!!!<-- I can feel your anger, it gives you focus,... it makes you stronger!
-The change of Palpatine's face <--- always wondered how!
-CLONES !!!!!!! All were so cool looking.

Can't wait to see it again!

The end. You know, that part where it stops playing. I really liked that.

Are you allowed to be 12 on these boards?

I thought "you must be at least 13 years of age to use this system"

    >4-finding out that palpatine helped create anakin

You mean, literally? As in, the mystery of Anakin's father,
    the midi-whatian manipulation comments?

No idea if anyone has mentioned this, but this is mine:

When Padme speaks her last words about there still being good in Anakin, there is a genius moment. Obiwan is holding Luke. The first words Luke ever heard were his mother saying his name "Luke" and then: "There is still good in him." *goosebumps*

As if Luke had remembered that all his life!

I am sure this is how Luke knows. His mother told him with her dying breath, just like Yoda told him with his dying breath there was another Skywalker, GENIUS!!!

[EDIT] And his father tells him to tell his sister he is right, with his dying breath!!! That makes three! Absolutely genius...

    Thank you, George Lucas. :_|

My favorite thing is when that Guy says that Thing about the other Guy, and then he does this Thing to hurt the other Guy. Then both Guys decide to do the that one thing Together.

    I LOVED That! :D

Having been a fan from the very first day Star Wars: A New Hope was released 28 years ago this movie took me back to that day so vividly and so magically, I felt that I never left the theater. First of all I must applaud George Lucas for giving us this new trilogy and making A NEW HOPE, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and RETURN OF THE JEDI so much better now.

There are so many brilliant points in REVENGE OF THE SITH but it just makes it all-the-more enjoyable to see one last film and now to have all six. Wow. What a great time it is going to be on a rainy saturday afternoon to start with Episode I and watch all the way through Episode VI in one day.

I've never really been a fan of the first film, but there were some great moments. For me the music in episode I was good when they "Activate the droids!" in the last battle, and the parade on Naboo at the end with the children's choir. I love the writing style of JOHN WILLIAMS and thank God he created six stand-alone and stunning soundtracks to these wonderful movies.

I have all six of them. I traded my Episode I soundtrack to a used CD store when the StAR WARS EPISODE I Ultimate Edition soundtrack was released in the blue cover with Darth Maul on the face. These really are great to listen to and I love the last half of the second disc.

Without the music of John Williams...I mean, come on. Who else could've scored these pictures? I think nobody else would've captured the same feel for the story and the characters.

So again, too many wonderful little things to point out here about what made Episode III so good, but for those who did not mention it, the "rebirth" of Anakin in the Darth Vader suit was the best part of the film for me. Hearing James Earl Jones again made this film tops for me.

So for George, thank you for creating such a great series. I now have somewhere to escape to when I need to get away from every day life for a while.

Cheers to Star Wars, and may the force carry on and be with it long after we are gone.

hey this is my first time posting anything so here it goes
i enjoyed the space scene at the beginning of the movie rather than
the end, and ewan's acting kinda held the movie together.
p.s. can anyone tell me why the clone troopers looked like
    skittles?

    So little Jar-Jar.

R2 being such a dashing, resourceful, witty hero.

The Tantive. Alderaan. Sunrise on Tatooine. Twins. Order 66. Brave Jedi padawans fighting to the death. The emotional end of the Duel. The cowardly, evil, gorgeously-accessorized General Grievous. Anakin's fast track to the Dark Side. Anakin's history as Palpatine's creation (should he be Anakin Skywalker Palpatine? [face_thinking] ) Palpatine as the ultimate evil, but with a tender touch!

    The scenes I loved:

    1. The opening space battle and all the way thru to the crash landing (Go Artoo!)
    2. Palpatine declaring the birth of the Empire while Anakin eliminates the Seperatists
    3. Anakin/Padme/Obi-Wan outside Padme's ship on Mustafar (got choked up, no pun intended)

There was emotion in this movie that I had not felt since the moment Vader turned on the Emperor in ROTJ to save Luke. That's what I loved about this movie, it had heart.

I like the dialogue between anakin and obi-1 on mustafar. I really loved the shot of sidious laugh @ yoda during the beginning of their duel and the camera is looking up at him. Pure evil, really f'ing cool.

    * The opening shot. Best opening in the saga, even better than ANH.
    * The comic relief involving R2 on the Invisible Hand.
    * The duel with Dooku, even though it was a bit too short.
    * The Invisible Hand's spectacular crash landing.
    * Hayden's acting in the scene where he learns of Padme's pregnancy.
    * The opera and Sidious revelation scenes to Anakin. I thought Ian pulled those off perfectly.
    * The Kashyyk battle, brief as it was.
    * Lightsaber duel between Palpatine and Mace. Very tense and claustrophobic.
    * Order 66
    * Ian announcing the creation of the Empire.
    * The scene where Obi-Wan reveals Anakin's betrayal to Padme.
    * The Clonetroopers were very cool. Looked great and deadly in combat. A far cry from the clowns in the OT.
    * Yoda vs Sidious, including the trash talk leading upto it. I particulary liked the shot where the platform they're duelling on rises up into the senate.
    * The creation of Vader. You could hear a pin drop in the cinema during that scene.
    * Luke and Leia being delivered to Alderaan and Tatooine.

The OT stormtroopers always get a bad rap so here's a small list of reasons why they're still BAMFS:

-they kill a bunch of human rebel soldiers at the start of ANH.

    -they've got dewbacks

-they kill a bunch of jawas and then take out Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, apparently with a flamethrower

-in ESB, they blast Threepio into pieces

-they set up Han Solo on the torture rack thing

-in ROTJ, they kill Ewoks and shoot Leia in the arm and shoot at Artoo delaying the Rebels getting into the bunker which is, uh, pretty inconvenient. Take that rebel!

I think the stormtroopers were most efficient in ANH, come to think of it.

I will admit that they didn't find the droids that they were looking for.

Man, that really grinds my gears.

As for ROTS, I really liked how they took Yoda to the next level and his lightsaber scenes look much more refined and believable.

It would have been neat to see a few more seconds of lightsaber combat in the Yoda/Sidious duel. I thought it would have been cool to see Yoda hop onto the Emperor's shoulders and try to decapitate him or something.

The big Obi-wan/Anakin duel was great but I wish they could have had them actually fighting on the ground of the planet for a bit, like on the side by the river of lava or a cliff or something.

I like all the little details like the parallel of the twins being born with Padme lying on a table with Anakin lying on a table being reborn as Vader.

Or how the three main Jedi characters all lose their lightsabers, although Obi-wan gets his back.

    Seeing inside Vader's mask.

Yoda piggybacking on Chewie. To see the shortest hero climb up onto the shoulders of the tallest hero in the saga made me smile.

Lots more that made me love this movie but that's all for now.

That first glimpse of Anakin in the cockpit,
barely in the frame. Nice shot.

Obi-Wan calling Anakin a "poster boy."

The Opera scene between Palpatine and Anakin.

Padme and Anakin looking toward each other across
the skies of Coruscant before Mace goes to see Palpy.
    The music here was awesome.

"Unlimited Power!" The Sith Battle Cry!

Slaughter of the Jedi, far more heartbreaking
    than I would have expected.

    Obi-Wan's line, "I'm so sorry."
    Wow.

    Vader blocking the Battledroid's attack,
then turning around and revealing those
    yellow Sith eyes.

The battle between Yoda and Palpy on the rising
podium as the ceiling irises open into the main
Senate chamber with Duel of the Fates playing.
    Awesome staging, George!

The entire sequence in the lab with Anakin/Vader,
especially the helmet being placed on his head,
and the conversation with Palpy at the end.

Padme's funeral. Beautifully sad images, great music.

The handover of Luke on Tatooine.

One outstanding moment, which was very simple was when Obi-Wan was hiding from the clones after his fall into the water, and they came looking for him.
Everything was perfect in this scene, the Clones were on their walkers with their search lights, making their clunking noises, the score was very dramatic and the overall scene was very dark.
For me this was one of the very few moments in the PT that I really felt I was watching Star wars.
