Out of curiosity, how many old timers like me came back out of the woodwork with the announcement? I've only posted a few times over the last several years before the news. I may stay around for a while. I feel my Star Wars juices flowing again Just want to know which old friends may be back on the boards.
Back in 2001, the internet was still some strange, mythical concept that I didn't fully understand. I would brave the peril of logging on to AOL dial up only when I needed cheat codes or move lists for Mortal Kombat.
I'm no old timer, but I have been absent for the most part for over a year. This has sparked my Star Wars interest again. So...
Hell, I joined in 2003 and will have my ten year anniversary on the boards in May. I do give Jello props though, especially since he is at least several years younger than me. --Adm. Nick
Hmm... if I go by my original account's date -- Aug 99 I think it was -- then I hit the lifetime milestone this year... I think I'm going to ignore that and stick by this account's date.
This, combined with my "Member Since" date, is enough to determine my age. Or you could, I dunno, look at my profile.
Been here since '07, so that's about 1/4 of my life. And what a life it has been. It would certainly be more productive without you people in it.
I guess I must count as an old-timer at this point; though I didn't realize there were so many '99ers left... TC
I admittedly got scared off by the continuity wars of the day, which was why I forgot my password by the time I made my current account. All I'd wanted to do was find out who Sidious was, but walked into a warzone.
