Lit. "Kyle Katarn Books" Regulars' Jedi Outcast MP Game

Okay, here's the deal for everyone who hasn't been following the Kyle Katarn Books Discussion Thread in Lit. So, we've decided to play a Jedi Outcast game with the people that are posting in this thread and are interested in it. However, for various reasons we had some problems playing it (don't ask), and we've taken the thread a bit off-topic. That's why we've decided to create this thread, so that we can discuss our game without threatening the original 'Books' discussion of being closed because it's off-topic. We already have a certain amount of players, and don't really want others to join, unless they are regulars of the Lit. thread. So if you're not one of those, move along. Thanks !

We're now at two failed attempts, with a million more well on the way.

So Kier, do you still want to try hosting, or are you sick of failed attempts ?

And should I send PM to all the people on the list to tell them about this thread (and that they should send their e-mail to Kier if they want to join) ?

Anyway, if we try again (and there is no try, so we're gonna do it), it'd be better if everyone knew when the game takes place at least 1-2 days before it.

DI, Yes, I did get the e-mail, but a fat lot of good it did since no one showed up.

And to everyone else, the agreed upon time was 10 pm Central, my time, since I was hosting. Second, the agreed upon method was, minutes before the game began, I'd send out an e-mail to everyone with my IP- I did this also, but only to the two people whose addresses I actually had.

PrinceXizor, I didn't use ICQ because I uninstalled it. It just really got on my nerves.

I wouldn't mind playing and I don't mind hosting, but everyone has to have their $#!7 together as well.

 

Kier... NP about ICQ. But you told us when it was gonna take place less than 12 hours before the actual game (or am I mistaken ? ? ), and it even didn't sound much like a confirmation. Oh, anyway...

What about next week's Thursday (6/20) 11PM, Kier's time ? (9PM PST, 0AM EST) - If that time's good for you, Kier, of course.

 

Hmm... if it wasn't for my 56k modem that only connects at 30 max, I'd join.

Although since jp is on a similar line, I might be willing to take him on for the ultimate title.
