Nom Anor: Whoever voiced Skelator in the old He-Man cartoon

Any of the YHV attack droids: Soundwave from Transformers

 

Hugo Weaving for Thrawn is actually pretty inspired casting. I can totally picture him doing it, and doing a great job.

 

Charles Keating as Bel Iblis. He just seems to have that noble manner I associate with Garm, plus his hair just seems to scream Bel Iblis at me.

That might have something to do with the fact that Denis Lawson played Wedge, and Wedge's sister marries Baron Fel, who is Jag Fel's mother/father, and is the ancestor of Fel in Legacy...

The castings that i will agree on:

Thrawn: Jeremy Irons or Hugo Weaving.
Can see them both doing an awesome job. They both have the acting experience playing cunning and devious bad guys. Especially the way that Thrawn plays it.

Pallaeon certainly looks like Sam Elliot, to a certain degree...or even Bel Iblis. Actually, did someone say earlier that Derek Jacobi would be a good person to play Pallaeon. I would consider that as well.

Darth Krayt and Bill Nighy.

Kate Bekinsale as Bastila Shan

Darth Bane: Vin Diesal certainly has the build, and maybe the attitude, but i do not think that this guy has the facial looks nor the attitude, nor the voice. I think that Ray stevenson would be a better choice, especially in regards to facial features, he just seems to fit, like his Titus Pullo character.

I think that Jorus C'Boath would have been played perfectly by Richard Harris, if he wasn't dead. refering to his Count of Monte Christo character.

How about Gary Sinise as Fey'lya.

I am really not too sure about Jason Issacs as Tyber Zaan?!? I really don't think that character does him justice.



Can't think of anymore off the top of my head: BUT....

Whoever the hell though that Emma Watson would be a good Star Wars character, damn, you have problems. Ever since she said in an interview that Harry Potter is far more successful than star Wars, (and from a certain point of view it could be) she lost any tantamount of respect that i ever had for her. Sure, i have never met the girl, and never would want to since i really don't care for her, but that statement alone...AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! It ticked me oofff. So. DAMN. MUCH!!!!! I do apologise if i have offended anyone, even her, but damn, that annoyed me to no end.

I think the Emma Watson suggestion was to have her play Vergere. Which I could actually see work. It would have to be an excellent actor who can truly do Vergere justice. And she would have to have Matt Stover's approval.

How about Matt Damon (Invictus, The Departed) as Ganner Rhysode? Change the hair color, and he looks a lot like the EA illustration.

Maybe it's because the NEGC illustration looked a hell of a lot like Aragorn, but I've always seen Corran Horn as Viggo Mortensen.

If we could get the original actors to do some promotional material for the New Era, maybe we could finally get some cover art where 60-year old Luke doesn't look like he is 20. Seriously, Jaina looks older than her mom.

I'm not sure why, but I like the idea of either Johnny Depp or Alan Rickman as Nom Anor.

Oh come on. Just because he was modeled off the guy and looks like the guy it does not necessarily mean that said actor would be good enough, or a good idea to play the character.

It is like i mentioned with Bane earlier, Vin Diesal has the build, but not the voice. THis guy may have the facial features and structures, but i do not think that he would be able to play it right.

 

Helena Bonham Carter as Lumiya or Nen Yim.

We have to get Ian McKellen in this somehow.

Russell Crowe as Talon Karrde. When I first saw the preview for that one political thriller movie he had out a year or so ago and I saw his what his character looked like, my immediate thought was, "OMKW! TALON KARRDE!"

Any suggestions for Kyp Durron?

And I like that idea of Depp as Krayt. Or perhaps...Cade?
