Definitely Harrison Ford as Han Solo. My backup would be Denis Quaid. He just has the Ford look about him, don't you think?

 

Yeah for sure he's got the look, but I think he'd lack the personality and charm of Ford.

 

You got that right! Nobody beats the Ford! I think Mark Hamil could pull off being Luke. Carrie Fisher not gonna happen. It's a pity we can't go into the Star Wars galaxy and yank the characters into real life.

Good choice -- and Arterton's in the upcoming Prince of Persia, which somehow makes her more plausible since she's in an action movie.
