Ok, I need a bit of help with these two:

Lomi Plo- The actress who plays Duall in BSG
Welk- I dunno, don't remember the description

 

Good choice! I like. I'd love to see Denis Leary in SW, and in an X Wing. That'd be awesome.

Ryan Reynolds is just a carbon copy of Jason Lee. I still think the guy is good, but he's trying to be Jason Lee way to much. Now getting Jason Lee in SW would be awesome, you can just see the scene when people are talking about Numbian's and he asks "What's a Numbian?" Ahhh that'd be awesome. (Chasing Amy joke)

 

Here'd be some interesting choices if there were ever a live-action Clone Wars era TV show:

1) Richard Simmons as Villie (The annoying Devaronian who, coincidence of all coincidences, always seems to show up in Quinlan Vos' life)

2) Robert Blake as Tholme (come on, think about it, it'd be bleepin' great!)

3) Fran Drescher as Asaaj Ventress (with a voice like that she'd make me wanna change the channel in an instant! . . . and yet there's something strangely sexy . . . wait did I say that? Inside voice!)

4) Jack Black as Quinlan Vos. I'd love to see this putz jumping around with a lightsaber.

5) Chris Rock as Nick Rostu (the Koruun leader from "Shatterpoint") Aahh! Laughin' and talkin' trash in the jungle!

6) Christian Slater as a younger Grand Moff Tarkin: he'd be transformed into a moderately psychotic, strangely grinning imp running around goosing women on the street, er, in the Senate building.

7) Mary Carey as T'raa Saa. For obvious reasons.

 

I don't think interesting is the word I'd use to describe that, more like stupid choices.

 

JAcen Solo = Patrick Flueger (4400, shawn)

 

I would like to reimagine Anakin as a hobbit and cast Mr E. Wood in the role.

 

My, I was always scared they might want to make films of THoT triology but now i think Jason Isaacs would be perfect for the part. Very good choice. The other suggestions for him, well IMHO Weaving is too you Palance looks too much like a playboy and Irons has a too thin face, I allways imagined it a bit broader. And for Alan Rickman, I love him, indeed, but the NOSE!!
Mara should be fine as long as they don't take the girl from the cards...
And Tim Zahn as KArrd would be lovely.
Otherwise I think they should take (relatively) unknown actors because they are not associated with much yet.

 

All right, I almost wanna kick myself for saying this... but just... THINK.

Vin Diesel + Dredlocks = Quinlan Vos

Trust me, it pains me to say it too, but he does action good, and he looks the part.

Edit: I would also like to say, I like the idea of Weaving as Thrawn and Reynolds as Face is genius

Great call! I he did a wonderful job in the Mummy films, he has the look, he can do action, he has the right skin tone, and all around is perfect for the role!


Oh, and he'd look awsome in teh dreads

 

I always visualized Jacen and Jaina as being played by Jason Behr and Shiri Appleby of Roswell. The two of them had amazing chemistry and look similar. They really give off the twin vibe.

In the same light, James McAvoy and Jessica Brooks, who played the Atreides twins in Sci-Fi Channels "Children of Dune" would also be fantastic.

Aren't the Solo twins about 30 now? I keep reflexively picturing them as teenagers, but if they were sixteen at the start of the NJO, which lasted roughly five years, and TJK is another five years later, I would go with older actors. I've decided to picture Jacen as Christian Bale, though I think Bale would make a good Jag, too. But Bale's pretty high profile these days... I agree that Welling would also be a good choice for Jacen, though.

 

I think your right I_Heart_WessHar, they're between 30-32 years old!

...And when you cast Lesley Ann Warren as Ta'a Chume, do you mean the Lesley Ann Warren who was Cinderella in the version of Rogers' and Hammerstein's Cinderella that I have loved since I was a child? *weeps for the sacrilege*

Zekk--Darren Hayes, circa 1998. It probably wouldn't work anymore, since it's been awhile and he doesn't always have the dark hair anymore, but I remember watching the video for "Truly, Madly, Deeply" with Darkest Knight in my hands, and it just clicked...For a more workable suggestion, I second (or third) the nomination of Caleb Ross.

For Jag, I see Wentworth Miller like several other people I know...he just looks so right for the role.

Kyp--I had to think about this one a lot, because he usually doesn't look much like anyone to me. Then I decided on Josh Holloway, whom Sauron_18 already mentioned. He can angst and smirk and be angry, and that's really pretty much the gamut of Kyp Durron's emotions. We can dye his hair later.

Jaina--I can see Keira Knightley in the role, or Evangeline Lily (Sauron_18 and I apparently watch too much LOST ). I think I might prefer to drag in an unknown for her role, though, because it's so important that you identify the main characters as the characters, without past roles getting mixed up in it.

And you know, since Phoenix is out of the question for real casting. Heeeeehe~

Also, Fehr as Talon Karrde = And yes, Lesley Ann Warren, oh yes I mean her~ <3 For some reason after watching her in Clue and how snarky of a Miss Scarlet she played... I think it would work.
