Okay, so I picked up The Lost Command this morning. Nice looking book. So does this go on the shelf before the DT trades or after? I see conflicting places for it in various timelines. Eddie?

 

I'm not really sure (yet)... both stories take place 19 years BBY... Solve the problem as I do: put everything alphabetical...

 

So what's happening with the Vortex paperback release ?
Last time I checked (less than a month ago) it was coming out tomorrow, now it's been pushed back to March ?
I mean, I still haven't finished Backlash and Allies, but March. Wow.

 

That might do for a starter. But I suggest you pay close attention to what occurs and what's said in the comics. There might be clues that would tell you when a certain issue or arc takes place.

While on the Dark Horse website I noticed that the re-issues of The Phantom Menace and the Episode I Adventures will now be out on December 21st. Also, sometime in the last couple of weeks on the Star Wars Books Facebook page there was mentioned of Apocalypse coming out on March 13. I will see if I can verify the information.

Does anybody know (or has it already been said) when the re-release of The Phantom Menace novelization with the new Darth Maul story is coming out? I know the re-release of Shadow Hunter is Dec 27th and I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same day or a week apart. Anyone know?

According to the Diamond Comics page the re-issues of The Phantom Menace and the Episode I Adventures will be out this coming Wednesday.

The release date for your pre-order item, Star Wars: The Essential Guide To Warfare, has changed as follows:

New release date: April 03, 2012

Previous release date: May 22, 2012

On the Star Wars Books Facebook page they posted a list of books being published in spring and I noticed that they had the new Episode I edition being published on January 31. Perhaps it is a typo and the actual date is still January 13. Guess will know next week.

When will we know what the next release is after 'Apocalypse'? I recall reading that a follow-up series is already planned...

 

Can i start an Author Analysis thread or just mods can do it?

 

Those threads have traditionally been moderator created---usually by Havac. Though we haven't made a new one in quite some time, I think we would prefer to keep them as "official", mod-created threads, just like the official novel discussion threads.

If you have an author in mind that you want an analysis thread for, just PM a Lit mod and request it. Similarly, if the thread already exists, but is locked, PM one of us to get it unlocked.

According to the Diamond Comics website the latest issue of Crimson Empire III and The Clone Wars: The Enemy within will be out this Wednesday.

 

Also, Dark Horse now has Dark Times-Out of the Wilderness #5 as being released April 25.

 

And 2nd printings of both Dawn of the Jedi # 0 and # 1 will arrive on March 21...

I will get an updated, long-due list to 2ndQuest later this week... (was waiting for the JC move, but it seems to be taking longer than I expected)

According to both Dark Horse and Diamond Comics The Old Republic volume 3: The Lost Suns and The Other Sons of Tatooine omnibus will be out next week. Dark Horse also has delayed the final issue of Crimson Empire III and pushed Invasion volume 3: Revelations to April 25.

Great to see that the release-list is back up!!! Gonna update it sometime next week (when I get out of the hospital)!!!
