I will buy single issues. I prefer issues over collections when buying digital. However, maybe in this case, I will wait to the TFA adaptation issues become cheaper and not buy them at release date.

 

I tend to buy the tpbs since I don't have a local comic shop for single issues.

Is the Vader HC coming out first or did I miss the Star Wars one somewhere?

You haven't missed anything, Vader OHC is first, with Star Wars following in September.

 

What's OHC?

 

Oversized Hardcover, I believe.

 

Correct. They're a bit larger than normal, being in the 28-29cm height and a little wider.

 

Any idea if there will be a hardcover for the Obi-Wan & Anakin miniseries? Are they planning on making hardcovers for every series?

 

No known date but, as they've announced OHCs for all their initial books:

• Star Wars #1-16
• Vader #1-19 + Annual
• Minis x 3: Leia, Lando, Chewie
• Kanan
• Shattered Empire (+C3PO one-shot)

I think we can be quite certain it's a question of when, not if, there's an OHC of the newer stuff.

The bigger Q is how they package it but that'll become clear in time. I'm suspecting a Star Wars OHC2 of the Rebel Jail arc + Vader's End of Games as Vader OHC2 has Vader Down and it'd be quite tidy, but we'll see.
