She's certainly not a mediocre Jedi by the end of KOTOR II. Besides, I don't see how making her a peer with Revanchist would make her a Mary sue (a term that is used much too loosely, I might add).

Can i start an Author Analysis thread or just mods can do it?

Those threads have traditionally been moderator created---usually by Havac. Though we haven't made a new one in quite some time, I think we would prefer to keep them as "official", mod-created threads, just like the official novel discussion threads.

If you have an author in mind that you want an analysis thread for, just PM a Lit mod and request it. Similarly, if the thread already exists, but is locked, PM one of us to get it unlocked.

Any chance we could start allowing polls again. It's been like 10 years since we stopped allowing them. We're probably adult enough to allow them again

As to the second item, interesting. Can the new system allow polls to be added to any post? Perhaps we could just have one sticky thread for all polls and only allow polls in that thread

Ok. Well, I suppose with great power comes great responsibility. Also, fear leads to the Dark Side, so we should not be afraid of polls anymore

Polls should be okay if they're not abused. I don't see any problem with many threads starting with a poll as long as the entire purpose of the thread is not intended to just to be a poll.

Is it possible to make a poll for favorite book of 2012 or favorite graphic novel of 2012?
