If you were at the July 21st meeting, you know what I'm talking about.

But you guys were kidding about me making mass quantities of them, right??

Anyways if you weren't know many do you want me to make????? I don't mind making them, they're lots of fun to make...

Hmm, what did we decide on? Something like 3000 of them? Better start soon.

Hehe, actually I think we were talking about make little fliers and then making the x-wings out of those and leaving them around.

Red_rose, you want to know what little paper x-wings are???

Well they are what they sounds, little x-ings made out of paper, and in our case made out of the placematts.

3,000??? hmmm, okay. Shall I wait to terrorize the flyers or should I made them out of notebook paper for now???

red rose...it was basically origami X-Wings. Very kewl. And I like the idea of using our flyers on it. Sounds like a good idea to me.

i found instructions on how to make a little TIE fighter. It's very crude and pathetic looking compared to the x-wing. If you want to know what it looks like, picture a TIE fighter, but instead of a round ball thing in the middle, piture that as more of a dimaond like prism thing, and the hexagonal solor panals are anything but parallel and straight. other than that they're okay. :)

That would be Strandedinspace who has those directions. She hasn't posted here in awhile, so I can't say what's up. But she is the origami guru with the paper x-wings. Be patient young padawans...

If any of you will be at the meeting tomorrow, you can ask Stranded In Space about the x-wings then. I'm sure she'd be glad to show you how it is done.

The little paper x-wings were the hit of Dragoncon. Jessica and Dylan (Hama) were busy folding for hours on end at the Fanforce table. I can't believe how small Jessica can make those things! She was folding them out of little pieces of post-it notes! I have a tiny one and a special larger one she folded out of very stiff purple paper. I am putting them on my shelf next my my Enterprise-E.

Yes, the origami X-wings were a huge hit at Dragon*Con. Dylan became quite skilled at making them. In fact, I think he is becoming obssessed. Every time I turned around, he was folding a new X-wing. ;)

Yeah. They're going to clean out Dylan's squad car and find all these paper X-Wings stuffed underneath the seats.

I think Dylan is going to have a special way of presenting tickets to drivers. Instead of just a boring sheet of paper, he will fold the ticket into an x-wing.
