Little Paper X-Wings...

Thank you to Stranded In Space for e-mailing me the directions for little paper x-wings. I left my email address at DragonCon with a delightful person whose name I cannot now remember (if you were one of the gals that gave the fan club seminar, I was the woman with blonde hair, shoulder length). There's actually a shop down the street that sells origami paper (NYC, of course) and I'm going to get some of the good stuff and try this.

Hullo. I am not a "Hothlanta Rebel", but I am a friend of Jessica (Stranded in Space), and I was wondering if any of you have heard from her in the past month or just recently in general. I really need to talk to her and I cant get a hold of her and I just need to know when she will be available... and since I dont live in Atlanta *yet*, I would appreciate it if one of you local peeple could do the above for me pweeeese.

To reply to the messages above, I have not yet folded traffic tickets into X-Wings. There have been a few outdated Incident Report Addendums that have mysteriously vanished, however.

 

So, how many X-Wings do you think that you have created up to now, Hama? Too numerous to count?

 

Perhaps we need to create a 12-step program for you, Hama. You were going pretty insane there at DragonCon!

 

Here's a link I saw in YJCC... made me think of this thread. It's step-by-step instructions on how to make an Origami Yoda.

 

Dylan, are you going to give the origami Yoda a try, or are you going to stick to X-Wings?

 

I'll see what I can do... just don't expect them in mass quantities.

 

No pressure, Dylan, but just making X-wings is not going to cut it, this year. We need to branch out and you are the lead on it!

Sure, he says not to expect them in mass quantities, but once he becomes addicted to making the Yodas, we won't be able to stop him from churning out dozens of them.

Besides, we cannot let this thread die. We've got origami planning to do for Dragon*Con 2004.

 

For those of you (like myself) fascinated by origami X-Wings, be sure to watch very carefully in the upcoming Stargate fanfilm Stargate: SG-Delta. You'll be able to catch my character folding something familiar. We hope to make it a recurring "Easter egg" in future episodes, too.

Also, I was assigned to hospital guard duty on Wednesday night, so I entertained myself, the hospital staff, and my patient with origami.

I'm so glad that the art you have learned from a member of our group has brought amusement to so many others.

 

Wow. Hospital guard duty. That sounds intriguing.

I bet you'd be a real hit with the kids.

 

I was hoping to be a big hit with the nurses. Unfortunately, the 6th floor of Skyline Hospital seems to be devoid of SW fans.
