When you bump into an old friend you went to school with, that you thought you would never see again.

Seeing my brothers and sisters, and all their kids, specially my sisters little boy.

Going into the bookshop ( Supernova is the best in Perth ) and seeing a new book that you did not know was coming out. (God knows how the snuck up on me with Darksaber !)

 

Handing in your resignation letter (again) and having them actually accept it with no "would you be able to..." kind of things.
September 21st will be a day long remembered

 

seeing my 5 yr old cousin cause i love her and she always makes you feel better
and finding out today that my youth leader was finally proposed to by her boyfriend

I was watching The Simpsons in my sister's room tonight. When the show finished, I switched the TV off, but I could still hear the ending credits theme playing. My dad was watching it downstairs.

 

On days when you get up early for stock-work....

The sun is just about to comes up, you're sleepy and feel seedy but eventually the the first birds start calling, the fog lifts and the sky is painted a smear from a bloody red through orange to a purple blue that stretches up to the heavens.......



(makes it almost worth while, considering that 20 mins later your up to knees in cattle dung!)

Had a job interview today that went well. I just don't want to assume I got the job or else I'll be let down if I don't get it.

 

I went for a jog this afternoon, for the first time in years. The first minute was fantastic, I was flying.... the next twenty minutes were pure agony. The arrival back home was sweaty and spin-heady and vigorous coughing ensued..... but after a nice long shower I'm now feelin pretty spiffy and buff

Er, the point of my story being, that going for a jog made my day.

When you have a former employer ring you and beg for you to come back.
And you get to name the terms,

 

Not having assessments for the next month or two.

 

Spending a day with your best friend, and knowing that you have a five day weekend ahead.

 

when your plans of stealing a poster from a bus shelter are falling into place

 

When slavey's plans go sour after posting the details on the Internet.

 

Waking up in the middle of the day and knowing that you don't have to move unless you want to.

 

Lisha that happened to me this morning. Then my dad barged into my room and told me to get outta bed. It was only 10:30!

 

When some idiot with a done up car does a burnout in you street at 5am, thus making you feel like hell, then said pillock turns up at your store looking to buy a tv. Then he forgets to use the parking meter, and he got fined for having baldies as well. I must remind the boos to get a second set of keys cut in case we lose them again

 

Spending the day with my 7 month old niece

 

Getting a job! I'm a Toys R Us guy now.
