Live Action TV Series

Does anybody know when it's supposed to start?

 

It's still in the planning stages, I guess. Lucas may not even do a live-action TV show. You know how restrictive he can be. LOL

I guess that can be a good thing.

 

I think either Fall 2006 or Fall 2007.

 

Lucas has said many times in interviews that he is going to do a Live Action TV Show.

 

Please mods, can't you start an official thread about this? That way the board won't be filled with new topics about the same thing all the time.

I didn't really want to make another one, but I looked through a few of the others and couldn't find anything.

 

My guess is spring or summer 2007 right with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of ANH.

 

Has anyone thought that Lucas might just wanna go for 30 years of star wars and then stop?

 

I wish they would make some Star War anime. All we have are Japanese manga and cine-manga.

 

I heard fall of 2006. There is a rumor on TFN main about the possibility of Daniel Logan starring in it, if only as a supporting role.

 

Also some actor called Matthew Newton is it? He's Austalian and he was second choice to play Anakin. If it's being filmed in Oz he won't haveto travel too far.

 

I heard no main characters I expect a lot of Organa and family and stuff going on around a young Luke.Be funny if they got LLOYD back to play luke.I cannot imagine not showing the death star and vader.Also Tarkin.

 

George Lucas and I, the great Stuporshadow are working on it right now,and it will be released in late 2007.
The first episode will be called The shadow of the Sith.
I will be playing the shadow.

What do you mean "to play Anakin"? Anakin is gone. The TV series takes place between Episodes III and IV. It's Darth Vader now.

What he means is that this guy was 2nd choice to Hayden for playing Anakin in AOTC and ROTS. Hayden was chosen. This guy received a nice consolation prize.

 

Has any info on whether or not the show will get the green light to be made in the first place been given out? If not, has there been any mention on when official confirmation for the show will be announced? From what has been mentioned so far, it sounds like a lot of the tv show deal is still up in the air.

Also, does anyone know if any of the actors or actresses from the movies, either main cast members or extras, have been approached about being involved, either has a main character or a support or guest star?

 

Matthew Newton's father, bert played a planet called Moonface.
But got edited out.(My life fools 24/7).
