OK folks, after a few phone calls and a discussion with the nicest restaurant owner on the planet...LOL...we are going to eat here Casa Bella

They can accommodate us, I have made reservations for 8:00 pm, and as an added bonus...it's also the first night of the Feast of San Genarro (sp?) (I know Chris and John, I'm not really Italian...ROFL).

To get there, take your best route to Canal Street (right on the yellow line - N,R,Q & W) and then follow the directions on the website.

Hope to see you all there!! This will be fun!

I hate to do this to you guys again, but we are going to postpone this to next Thursday, September 18th at the same time and place. A few people are sick and really want to attend, so out of respect for them and others who can't make it tonight for various reasons, we are going to move it.

Also, not to sound melancholy, but out of respect for today, that was another factor. Thanks for understanding.

Due to the impending hurricane (and so Commander Ed can join us...hehe) this will be NEXT Thursday, September 25th. We will have it at Tacocina again since everyone seems to like that place, at 8:00 pm.

 

I might actually be able to join you guys for a change! We'll have to see what homework that week brings.

Tacocina is on 9th avenue, between 47th and 48th I believe...on the East side of the street I think. 710 9th Avenue to be exact. Hope that helps.

Decent place, they accomidated us the last time...though you may have to wait for a soda.

Table for 10 should be fine again I would think. If we end up with more, we can always add on.

How's this for irony guys and gals. I call in sick yesterday so I can have a mental health day, and I wake up today with a scratchy throat and other cold/flu like symptoms. I'm gonna have to skip this one this time boys and girls. Catch you on the flip side.
