Kevin....of course I was there! I was in the 20th row, center. It was the most amazing show I've ever been to. And it marks my 12th show. It just was amazing. I can't wait for the CD & DVD to come out!!!!

 

The next topic to be discussed will be "The Psychology of Star Wars: What Makes the Characters Tick?" Come discuss what Anakin's REAL capacity for love is, or why Padme still remains such a mystery after two films and some EU background? Also, how can Leia remain so strong in the face of losing her planet and her family? What must have been going through Luke's head after ESB? He had quite a bit of information to digest all at once.

All this and more will be answered Thursday, December 11th at 8:00 pm. Location TBD.

Unfortunatly I cannot make this meeting. It's X-mas party season and boy it's busy. I think the topic is a great one, though. Especially in light of what happened 6 yrs ago. I spent 3 wks in hospital, and the best rest I got was when ESB and ROTJ came on TV. I fell asleep during ESB and woke as the credits from ROTJ rolled. As my roommate said "the tv watched me". From a psychology standpoint that event has led me to believe that The Star Wars Universe is a "safe place" for me to be. Hope this stirs some discussion.

 

Do we want to try somewhere downtown or in the Village?

Has the gift exchange been given a new date. Or will it be folded in as part of the meeting on Thursday.

 

Since not everyone who already bought gifts can make it on Thursday, we will move that to a later date.

 

So just so I know I'm not missing anything, we're going to have dinner on Thursday (10/11) and the gift exchange is another day?
